what i think about the whole john mulaney thing is:

- "parasocial relationship much?" yes, ppl have been weird but it's also not uncommon to react a certain way after a whole bunch of years during which a comedian has joked about not wanting kids and then revealed a pregnancy

- "thE InK wAsnT eVEn dRy YEt" this is extremely none of ur business but also they have, apparently, been separated since october

- "having ppl all up in ur business is the price of being famous" uhm who tf decided that? maybe we as a society should stop behaving like stalkers around ppl we literally don't know or won't ever have a chance to meet, so yeah he could have expected such a reaction but should he live his life and make his choices according to how the internet will react? don't think so

- "olivia and the baby are saving me from myself" that is kind of off putting and a weird thing to say and i see and agree with the ppl who commented on it highlighting a well known pattern in freshly recovered addicts, tho no one should obviously demand his attention on the matter, ppl make mistakes and this maybe one but we're not the ones to tell and we should not be the ones bringing this matter to the attention of ppl who are adults

- leave anna and olivia out of all of this

we should overall congratulate him on his recovery and thank him for his openness about it which, given he's such a public figure, is admirable, and wish him the best, considering we don't know half of what he, his ex wife or his current girlfriend have been through
