if you’re embarrassed by the person you were 5 years ago, good. bc it means you’ve grown. you’ve educated yourself and expanded your horizons. given half the chance, I’d deck 2011 me right in the face .
You’ve unlocked a new level 2017! Good job on collecting the star for 2016, and good luck on your newest adventure. Happy new year, players! :D
QUE TENGAN UN BUEN COMIENZO Y SIGAMOS JUNTAS POR MUCHOS AÑOS MAS! LAS AMO -CAMI

Los argentinos en este año nuevo. Argentinians in this new year.
probably a lot of you don’t know what’s going on in argentina, so let me tell you. today, october 19, women are marching. what for? for our rights, for men to stop kidnapping, raping and killing us. we, argentine women, live in constant fear. we are afraid to leave our houses because we don’t know what’s going to happen to us in the streets and don’t know if we’re gonna come back safe and sound. we have to cross the street so we don’t have to pass near a group of men, who will probably catcall us. catcall is never nice. we can’t be nice to men because they mistake it and think we want to have sex. and if we say no, we’re are fucking teasers. if we’re alone in the street and something happens to us, it’s our fault “for being alone”. we’re afraid of wearing short shorts/skirts because hey, if someone rapes us it’s our fault for showing so much skin, not the rapist’s. since we’re kids, they teach us that if a boy hits us it’s because he loves us. men hit their girlfriends/wives because they “wanna protect her”. love is never violent. people tell us to learn how to defend ourselves if a man on the street want to do something to us instead of teaching men to respect us. we’re treated as objects, something that belong to a man. if they treat us bad, it’s our fault because we don’t leave. if we leave, we live with the terror of being haunted. they can insult us, torture us. they can kill us. we’re afraid and we’re tired of feeling this way. just in the last week, seven women were murdered by the hands of men. seven lives taken away, seven families destroyed. today we are marching because we want our voices to be heard. today, we scream from the top of our lungs to stop this atrocity. we scream for those who don’t have a voice anymore. #NiUnaMenos #VivasNosQueremos
It’s an old post but it’s so important🙏. Un post algo viejo pero tan importante🙏.

VENEZUELA.
So lately, I have been hearing the problems Venezuela has gone through, problems that aren’t new, problems that have been there for decades but that perhaps are being a bit more divulged now thanks to the media. This means that people are SCREAMING for help and we can’t turn a deaf ear. I know that maybe it is not the best time to talk about it with all the attacks going on but that’s another issue, it seems that the only things that matter are the things that happen in Europe or The US. And don’t get me wrong, I know these attacks are destroying the entire world but where is the ONU in these situations? Where has it been all these years? This organization mostly appears when the big world powers can get some benefit and the society can’t allow it because we need to help each other. For god’s sake, it doesn’t matter what our differences are, we are ALL HUMANS.
As an Argentinian and a Latin, I can understand what our brother country is going through because similar things had happened here, a lot milder of course, but I think every Latin can relate with Venezuela’s situation in some way. And I am talking about people that don’t have FOOD, soap, toothpaste, shampoo, TOILET PAPER, again, TOILET PAPER, diapers, milk, MEDICATION, people is actually dying due to the lack of medication, people only can go to the supermarket once a week and according to their ID number, that is to say that they can only go to the supermarket the day that was granted to their ID number and the have to queue for HOURS to find out that maybe what they were looking for was not there or that it’s going to arrive the next day (when they can’t go) o that it’s never going to arrive. People who HAD and could scape are also suffering and torturing themselves and feeling guilty because they left their country, their families or just for the fact that they can eat or go to the shop in minutes when a lot of Venezuelans can´t.
Insecurity is other topic. Almost 70 Venezuelans are killed per day, the second country with the biggest number of murders, the country with most abductions in Latin America. There’s 65% of inflation, 50% of unemployment, 486% of devaluation and these are just a few numbers. They are suffering a dictatorship. Human rights are being torn off from them. We need to be aware of all this kind of issues and not be indifferent or we’ll end killing each other.
I might not be the best at writing or communicating but I feel that I have to help in some way, at least sharing what’s happening in this beautiful and amazing place. I’m so sorry if there’s a misunderstanding or someone feels offended, it is not my intention. I just want a change. Today for Venezuela, tomorrow for Africa, then for Pakistan, etc. And who says, maybe in a few years even for the Unites States of America itself. So PLEASE help to help! Share this message. Let’s change the world step by step supporting each other and always with the power of love.
And for all the Venezuelans all I can say is STAY STRONG, believe, work hard, study and have hope. I know that sometimes words aren’t enough but we are with you, we have to stay together. DON’T GIVE UP!
