AFTER MY FIRST LOVE DIED, I was depressed. I seek psychological advice from a friend. But one friend told me, “He will be happy if you find someone who can make you happy.” After a year, I accepted the fact that he’s never coming back again and I know he’s in good hands. After a year again, I thought I could find someone who could make me happy. I gave my YES to him last year 9th of August, the day of which the end of Ramadan. I was starting to love him. The development was on the average level however it didn't last long. One day, yesterday, unexpected thing happened. He left for the reason I couldn't understand. I did what I could to save the relationship. I even humbled myself down to his feet. I swallowed my pride. I felt like I was worthless. Now I realize that he didn't love that much. But who the hell am I to keep his freedom that he wanted? He told me that he loves me. But I felt that he’s not with me anymore that was why I did what I had to do, letting him go. I’m hurt. I’m not okay. I don’t have shoulders to lean on. I cried last night because I believe that OUR EYES NEED TO BE WASHED BY OUR TEARS ONCE IN A WHILE, SO THAT WE CAN SEE LIFE WITH A CLEARER VIEW AGAIN. All I have right now…I and my strength to smile despite the things that are happening to me. I post this because love is about giving your partner the happiness they deserve to have. It is not for you to decide what happiness they want to have. It is their call, not yours. I post this because when someone leaves, another arrives. Don’t lose hope. I’m heart-broken but I never stop lovin’. We may never have a chance to prove that there’s a HAPPY ENDING. But I hope WE WILL LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER in our own separate ways. I’M SINGLE AND TIME TO MOVE ON.
