From pokemon mystery dungeon btw... #makesyouthink
quirky fourth wall breaking character but theyre just fucking. wrong about the medium theyre in. they keep making references to cinematic techniques and directorial styles and the other fourth wall breaking character is like "dumbass we're in a fucking comic book" and they are in a video game.
Well currently they’re in a tumblr post but I see your point
we're actually in a youtube video if this turns out to be funny enough
"Isn't it weird that [thing humans commonly eat] is poisonous to literally every domesticated animal" I mean, there's a pretty good chance that [thing humans commonly eat] is at least mildly poisonous to humans, too. One of our quirks as a species is that we think our food is bland if it doesn't have enough poison in it.
Humans have a really weird mix of mundane superpowers.
We're not fast and don't have a lot of natural weaponry but we're bizarrely tolerant to a broad range of toxins to the point that one toxin is considered a morning necessity for some to perform at work. Gotta love us.
im gonna shit
The prophet… he tried to warn us. He told us it was too much power, and yet we all laughed. We made a joke of him.
Moreos Guy, if you’re out there, I would like to personally apologize for not heeding your warning to us.
Can’t fathom how I’ve been on this site so goddamn long that there’s a whole new generation of people on here that don’t know who Moreos Guy was.
Ok so theres this thing where groups of people are enter the Church of Scientology and try to run through the whole building without getting caught by their goons.
I assembled a group of umas who would be capable of this task…
Credit for this idea goes to @/jeffthemillerlite on tiktok!
please make sure your transfem friends don’t get excluded. please listen to their needs.
You should do more than just listen, actually. You need to ask her. You need to go up to her and ask her about things you can do to include her. We are taught to take up as little space as possible, you need to go out of your way to account for that.
I hope the next 4chan post that gets adapted into an indie film is Bridget Forcefem Tulpa
ok google how do i propose deeper friendship and intimacy to my mutuals without feeling like a pervert predator
hey. can we DM? do you want a voice message? do you want to see a picture of my face? do you wanna call? do you wanna get off on call with me? do you wanna consider us friends? do you wanna share secrets? do you wanna hint vaguely at where we both live to gauge how far we are from each other? do you wanna meet? do you wanna hang out? do you wanna fuck? do you wanna hold hands and kiss? does this make me creepy? is this too far? do you wanna kill me. i'm really sorry
People who haven't seen Madoka Magica might not know this, but both the characters Mami and Homura are magical girls who use guns as weapons. But while Mami's gun are magical, Homura's are literally just normal guns she stole from the government.
i really really love the magical muskets for a really specific reason, which is that blackpowder guns are way older than people think and should 100% be treated with similar mythological weight to swords and spears and stuff at this point, and they should have equal prominence in generic fantasy fiction stuff.
lemme put it this way; european longswords and european cannons are siblings. they emerged at basically the same time in the early 1300s, and when the longsword was at its peak use in the mid-1400s, the musket was beginning to proliferate.
likewise, the 'modern' style of katana only started being made in the century leading up to the introduction of muskets to Japan; in fact, the reason the katana became The Samurai Sword was because it was a small practical blade you could wear while you carried a gun.
if you can picture your setting having a sword you can use with two hands, then you should have hand cannons. if your knights have full plate, then there should be matchlocks. if you have a magical girl with a sabre, then you should have magical girls with flintlocks.
they used to make smackable technology. you used to be able to hit your tv when it didn't work good.
when I was a kid I had an old tv in my room that would always turn to unwatchable static in the middle of shows but one night my sister and I were watching Naruto & every time Kakashi was on-screen the static cleared so we were like “hahaha the tv looooves Kakashi.”
I had a Kakashi bookmark so we held it up against the screen as a joke but the static actually cleared up. Mystified, we tried different bookmarks and objects with the same plastic material but nothing else worked, only the Kakashi bookmark.
We ended up taping it to the corner of the screen and it stayed there for 11 years until we moved out. When I was older people would be like “can you move the bookmark off the screen” bc it did sort of block a bit of the view but I would demonstrate the static issue and everyone was always just like “huh. what the hell?? well…alright.”
No explanation, but thanks Kakashi.
I had a similar tv! It was a tv with a built in dvd and vcr because it was in college and I’m apparently old now. But! The dvd player never wanted to play- unless it was Chicago (2002). First, we would put that dvd in, let it start, and then swap it for the movie we really wanted to watch. It got to the point where we would put in the dvd we wanted and sing “he had it coming!!!” At the screen at volume. Fucking worked *every time*
Bizarre.
I miss when technology had real personality, instead of fake ones designed to generate lies and nonsense and spy on you.
