We were in the elevator with one of our elderly neighbors last week. She was excitedly chatting that she is about to become a Great grandmother!

She then pivots to inviting us to church for Easter Sunday.

We politely start the "oh, thank you, that is very kind, but-"

"We are having a Filipino food banquet. You get good Filipino food. I make good food."

This tiny woman looked us up and down and was like 'how do I get these two to church? I bet lumpia would do it.'

She is not wrong.

For blind/visually impaired folks: The instruments being used to recreate these songs are two kazoos, a plastic shopping bag, a metal colander pot, a basting brush, an empty water jug, and a thin sheet of plastic, all being played by two people in an empty parking garage for the acoustics

For deaf/HoH folks: The songs being played here are near perfect renditions of the 20th Century Fox theme, the Pirates of the Caribbean theme, and the Mission Impossible theme

I'm not christian (and wasn't raised to be either) but I really love adventure and puzzle games so I think it's great how christians have turned one of their major holidays into an excuse to set up elaborate treasure hunts. more religions should implement egg hunting minigames into their rituals actually.

I know she’s a bit hard to see, but here’s a female American Pelecinid Wasp I saw last year! She may be uncharismatic to others but I think she’s beautiful!

Spur throat locust, the stripe pattern on their legs is stunning in my opinion!

Female Common Green Darner dragonfly, I can’t believe she let me hold her like this!

Chestnut Weevil! Absolute sweetheart, kept flying off of me and then landing back on me.

American Dagger Moth caterpillar! Didn’t touch this one, they’re venomous!
