the other night i tried to make a curry and i got chilli burns all over my face, so i thought to myself âhang on, doesnât milk soothe chilli burns? it doesâ and i couldnât google because i couldnât see so i just had to blindly feel my way to the fridge and pour out a bowl of milk, and then plant my face in the bowl of milk, anyway at that point the rice cooker went off and triggered a power surge which turned my electricity off, which i didnât notice at first because i had my face in a bowl of milk and when i did emerge from the dairy prison i thought i had gone blind with chilli burns. so no i donât really cook much.

EVERYONE STAND FOR OUR NEW NATIONAL ANTHEM
just a comparison between Suigimoriâs official character art from Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire to the originals. The redesigns are pretty great in my opinion
This could sincerely be used in a cartooning class with the intent of teaching the importance of action lines and expressive characters.
if you tell me that even professional artists canât improve and still want to improve and work their hardest to improve then iâm calling bs
The Mulan one is my favorite.

Mean world syndrome is a term coined by George Gerbner to describe a phenomenon whereby violence-related content of mass media makes viewers believe that the world is more dangerous than it actually is. Mean world syndrome is one of the main conclusions of cultivation theory. Gerbner, a pioneer researcher on the effects of television on society, argued that people who watch television tended to think of the world as an intimidating and unforgiving place. A direct correlation between the amount of television one watches and the amount of fear one harbors about the world has been proven, although the direction of causality remains debatable in that persons fearful of the world may be more likely to retreat from it and in turn spend more time in indoor, solitary activity such as television watching.

For those of you who donât know the context here, that woman lived in a period when women couldnât vote and was meeting the nationâs first female presidential candidate.
The second photo is her watching one of the most qualified women in history with 30+ years geopolitical experience lose to a racist, sexist yam in a hair piece.
I looked up what this woman had to say about Hillaryâs loss and:
When asked over and over why she was supporting Clinton, Steininger always had the same answer: experience. Clinton had the training and knowhow, she said, and Trump didnât.
Trumpâs presidency is ânot going to affect me because I am going to die soon,â she said. âItâs my children and my grandchildren that I am concerned about. Because our country is going to be set back. Thatâs what Trump promised to do. A womanâs right to choose is out the window. Health insurance heâll do away with. Same-sex marriage he is opposed to.
âWe made a lot of progress in my lifetime and it looked like weâd make a lot more,â she added. âNow, we are not.â
âŠ
For Steininger, who has been sporting a handmade âHillary â16â sign on her walker since the caucus, early voting was the first milestone in her âplan,â as she called it. Beginning with her Christmas letter, she told her friends and family that she decided she had âto stay alive to vote for Hillary.â
With Clinton losing, Steininger said she isnât sure sheâd live long enough to complete that plan. And as the clock ticked past 11 p.m., then midnight and finally 1 a.m., Steiningerâs hope faded and her body began folding in on itself.
âI want (Hillary) to know I did what I could and I am sorry,â she said. âThere will be a woman voted president of the United States. It wonât be Hillary, but sooner or later there will be a woman voted president.â
She took an extended pause: âA woman got this far, so I think it will be easier the next time around. Thatâs progress.â
I legitimately just started sobbing again
