on a whim i listened to an ai discussion video essay over sam altman and holy shit both sides are so fucking stupid. literally at no point in the video was an actual use for ai ever actually stated, just that theres a lot of money riding on how successful these companies are and like mr video essayist thats literally the start and end of it. "agi" is just the next bridge to sell you, ai isn't a superweapon, openai isn't developing humanity destroying technology, rather the theater of doing so is what lets them do a lot of the Actual humanity destroying actions (rampant pollution, human rights violations for labor, poisoning and commandeering water supplies from communities of people, etc) just for money. so much emphasis has been put on the potential of a technology that quite literally has no use where i think even the vocal critics are just as convinced on ai's "uses" and said "potenshul" but like i feel that if i ask any of these people what ai actually does they wont be able to answer me. silicon valley has to be nuked off the face of the planet for real

Okay so some surgeamy headcanons:

I think Surge develops feelings for Amy hard and fast but is very conflicted about the actual validity of her feelings, wondering if it’s a true, sincere love coming from her own heart or if it’s somehow a product of the brainwashing she experienced to destroy and replace Sonic. She wonders if she was rewritten to “replace” him in more ways than one. She doesn’t trust her head and can’t fight her heart forever.

I think Amy has a type (which is essentially Sonic and his copies lol) and so she can’t help but feel attracted to Surge. She still believes firmly in her love for Sonic but she can’t ignore these new and exciting feelings bubbling up in her heart. Amy is also curious if Surge’s feelings are sincere and is more than willing to help her discover the truth.
