You held onto Apollo gently as the two of you rode in his golden chariot, his golden hair flowing in the wind as he guided his flaming horses through the air over the forest that sat only a few miles from Olympus. you gripped his orange cloak as he slowly brought the chariot down in a small clearing, stepping off and gently taking your hand and helping you off the chariot. "my love" he flirts, wearing his signature smirk as he followed you to the base of a large tree where a small picnic had been set up with the help of hermes before the two of you arrived. "its beautiful apollo" you smile, moving to sit beside one of the baskets of fruit that was layed out, looking up at your husband with a small blush as he moved to sit behind you, wrapping his arms around your waist and pulling you into his lap, laughing at the small noise of surprise you let out. "happy anniversary my sunshine" he smiles, kissing your neck gently. You turn your head a little to look at his golden eyes, which were shining with love for you. "You remembered? And here I thought your gift was simply our morning in bed," you smirk teasingly, causing him to get a small glint in his eyes at the memory of your morning.. spicy time. "Of course I wouldn't forget. We may be immortal, but every year with you is better than the last. Besides, isn't this our 200th anniversary? It's special," he smiles, moving to pull the sleeve of your dress down. Before he could go any further, the two of you were stopped as one of Apollo's flaming horses strutted over, nudging you with its head, its flaming mane inches away as it begged for attention. you laughed, gently stroking the side of its face while apollo looked away grumbled, tighting his hold against your waist. "dont pout my love its not a good look for you" you laugh, sending him a side glance as his second horse walks over and nudges him instead, of which apollo reluctantly pets it, a small annoyed glare in his golden eyes. "i think your father is jealous" you say in slight baby talk, holding the horses face as apollo mumbled something behind you about leaving his horses with artemis next time. You give him a small laugh before turning and kissing his cheek, making him pause a bit before turning his head just enough to kiss your lips. The two of you lie back down, him lying against the tree and you lying against him, with the horses resting their heads in your laps, a small moment of peace in a god's life. You lie back against your husband, closing your eyes and enjoying his warmth. failing to see him send a small fireball to a nearby bush where Hermes had hid behind, making teasing gestures over Apollo's jealousy with his horses.
