I met the love of my life when I was 19. The moment we met was an instant change. He was so handsome, that cheeky grin would make me melt every time. I knew he would be my soul mate. We went everywhere together, never able to be apart. We took our time getting to know each other, learning something new everyday. When I brought him home, my mother was so happy for me. She instantly loved him. His blond waves reminded her of my father, who passed away a few years back. I remember our first date; we went to the movies to watch Finding Nemo. We shared slushies and candy. I laughed as I watched him flick Nerds into the crowd below us, feeling mischievous like school kids. We got kicked out, so we went for a walk to the nearby playground. We felt so innocent, playing on the swings, giggling about jokes and making silly voices. I felt flutters in my belly when he held my hand. I just knew he was the one after that. He came home with me that night, and every night.
