let’s talk about the new drug in the market
it’s not really new, but it always looks fresh
the men hate its smell but they still apply it in their heads anyway
now i’m not talking about the war, forget the damn blood
breath this new herb. can you taste it?
it’s this candy-like blueish butterfly rolling in your veins
you only know it crawled inside you when it’s too brightly late
c’mon everyone, let’s talk about this drug, this old new drug
now i can’t give it to you, nobody can
you were born with it if you weren’t born dead
everyone has this strange invisible monster keeping them alive
i’m not talking about any gods or some voodoo controling you
you don’t need that, look around and you might just understand what i mean
should you be here? do you even know what i’m talking about?
did you forger the meaning of your existence? did you even had one?
did you met yours before you opened your eyes for the first time?
or after the thousand time? doesn’t matter, it always changes
should this drug exist? would it make a difference if we didn’t know it exists?
again, doesn’t matter if it changes. our butterflies trade colors with nature
it’s like a soft and warm hug from the wet darkness that only exists there
from time to time we have to crawl back to the shelter to rise again
it’s what this drug makes us do, it charges its primitive battery
it feeds the butterfly for it to change colors and we can’t resist
we’re doomed from the moment of conception to the end of our last words
how many lines do we need to write who we are? my paper’s always blank
we have our eyes closed throught pretty much half of our lives
what are we seeking? is it hidden in the darkness? maybe in our dreams?
did you prepare yourself for the travel? when are you leaving?
are you still alive? were you born alive? where are you? breath to me
let’s talk one more time about this sold out drug
maybe it will make sense when you understand if you use your thoughts
the end is near the edge of the closest wing inside somebody else
maybe darkness has a plan for us all when we open our eyes for good
we can only live with this drug, altought we hate it we need it to survive
this is the last stop. did you forget anything?
well, it doesn’t matter.
