Neil channeling the rage of Song 38; Odysseus anytime someone looks at Andrew wrong.

pro player neil josten who is known for his stamina worldwide because wtf he can play full games without slowing down for a second?? he gets thrown and punched and he still can jump, running circles around backliners all the same. the sport community is shocked. when he and andrew come out as a couple, the tag praying for andrew minyard was trending for months

andrew is kind of offended, he doesn't care about peoples opinions but he can tire josten out very easily like c'mon they should've known better

A few things the Foxes have noticed that they find adorable about Andreil (except for Aaron obviously)

they orbit around each other. When noticing that the distance has become to great they always come back together even if it's just a few too many centimeters on the couch. They do occasionally spend time apart but mostly stick in each other's orbit, never too comfortable without the other in sight.

they know what the other wants without saying a word. One time the Foxes where celebrating another win and brought a buch of different snacks to share. Without Andrew having to say anything Neil already got up to walk all the way across the room to get Andrew's favorite snack of the day. It's never the same one but Neil for some reason always gets it right.

Their little moments of affection, ruffling each other's hair, small kisses when they think no one is watching, leaning on each other and much more.

The way they seem so incredibly peaceful around each other. Moments where Andrew falls asleep in Neil's arms while watching a movie or Neil visibly calming down for another anxiety spike when Andrew enters his field of vision.

Neil excitedly running over to the goal every time they win a game just to bonk his head against Andrew's.

Andrew gifting Neil a camera for his birthday and Neil actively using it to capture his life. Most of wich end up being pictures of Andrew with the occasional auburn hair strand hanging in frame.

Andrew helping Neil with making a new binder with the pictures Neil took.

Andrew claiming to hate a tradition like baking Christmas cookies just to end up doing exactly that with Neil when he finds out Neil never had the joy of making some and looked like a kicked puppy when everyone around him recalled how much fun they had while making some in the past.

Andrew barely awake having pulled a beanbag all the way to the door to sit and wait for Neil to return from his morning run.

Writing spooky/horror scenes is something else. I can't find the balance between realism and rhetoric and decide now's a good time to write a Southern Gothic Andreil fic. Goodness fucking gracious ugh.

The Foxhole Court, everyone

Not only do i like to make plans, but i's also something i kind of have to do to picture the place and make it plausible and accurate - escpecially if i want to make a comic.

That plan fixes the mistakes i made for the lounge one i did last year. I still believe the lounge looks like this somewhat, but i picture it wider now, the room was too small. Making those plans i had to remember that a usual exy team can fit up to 30ish people in it, so common rooms had to be large, each locker room should be able to fit ~15 people and so forth.

I'm preparing another drawing of a book scene. If you have a request do tell, i might make it the next one.

one of the things i enjoy most about the aftg books is andrew’s speech patterns, but specifically when you look at the rest of the characters.

because i think right now many books are being published with unrealistic dialogue, fantasy books are the biggest offenders on this but its sort of all over the place. its just twenty something characters acting like overlords or villains with formal vocabulary and overly forced banter.

and the truth is Nora could have written it like that, made every one of these ratty college kids speak in riddles or like royalty for no fucking reason; but it would take you out of the story immediately.

and yet she did it for andrew. so when you hear him speak like a freak, in a context where nobody else does, you dont think oh this is unrealistic, your brain just goes ohhh that’s a theater kid or an autistic kid or an autistic theater kid DUH of courseeee

The first time Aaron heard the song Willing and Able by Noah Kahan, he sobbed. He cries to that song often, actually. Some nights he listens to that song just to feel even remotely close to the man who was suppose to be his brother, his family. Most times, he cries. Everytime, he mouthed the lyrics like he can actually picture ever saying them to his twin. And sometimes, only a few times really, he contemplates sending the song to his brother.

can we talk about how andrew would be the perfect stereotypical dad. he’d have a reclining chair and reading glasses and he’d sit in his chair with the cat he “hates” and “didn’t want” on his lap. he’d have the dad stance and probably shake chex mix in his hand before eating it
