Harriet let out a small chuckle and shake her head. “Fashion? You would call that fashion? Not judging you, it’s just your fashion likes is way different than mine” she said with a small chuckle. She chuckle. “Fancy is an world to say when you like something. Yeah, I’m learning new words here” she said chuckling. She nodded. “I agree. Everything is better than the Isle and I saw a lot of ice cream parlours around” she told the other with a small smile. She nodded. “Mal told me about Jay not remembering too. Her two best friends don’t remember her, I bet it’s not being easy to her” she said with a sigh. She frowned. “Disney? What is Disney?” she asked and shake her head. “No. His real name is Killian, he is married with an woman on his realm, she is the daughter of Snow White and well a hero as far as he told, and have an daughter named Hope. I was totally in shock. I’ve never expect Captain Hook married, especially with a hero. Wait because have more. He told me that the Peter Pan from his world was evil”.

dizzy couldn’t hold back her giggle when she heard harriet’s words. “oh trust me i know our styles are completely different. what i was trying to say though is that on the isle we got to express ourselves through out clothes.” she responded. “oh i see. so i can say i fancy ice cream. or will it only work with people ?” she asked curiously. the smile vanished as they went on to talk about jay and evie and their lack of memories. “it is hard for me, i can’t begin to imagine the way mal feels.” she admitted with a little sigh. “that is exactly what i said. what even is disney. people explained it though and apparently it’s a company that makes movies and we are somehow part of those stories they tell in movies. i know it’s weird and hard to believe but i’ve had more than one person already tell me that that is where we’re from.” she shared what she’d been told by others. “but okay he is not from disney.” she added and carefully listened to the story of who this man was. her eyebrows were raised as she heard the entirety of the story. “that is super weird. they may have the same name but that is nowhere near who your father is. and what ? peter pan being evil ? that’s got to be ajoke.”

“it seemingly stopped after the last attack.” she started. “but i wasn’t around long after it, so who knows.” she continued. when she heard penelope apologize for not being there she was struck by a feeling. “it’s not your job to make sure that i’m safe penelope. my dad got in in time to get me something that stopped it from affecting me.” she explained back to the other. it was nice hearing that penelope wanted to be there for her. but part of josie was glad that she hadn’t been there when they had been attacked. penelope being gone had meant that she didn’t have to worry about what was happening to her in the school while she had been almost dying. “i like the idea of you not leaving my side, but i really don’t need you to protect me. i can handle myself. you helping is nice, but not protecting me.”

“it is terrifying not being able to get answers.” the brunette spoke, not just referring to the fact that they had no answers on the place they had found themselves in. the other part being what penelope had revealed to her just as she was leaving. the journal that let her see her father’s and revealed the merge. that was another thing that was bothering her. “you don’t have to apologize, i know that you were just trying to help me with the things that i had no knowledge of.”

“i’m glad you’re no longer there, involved with the attacks and whatnot.” penelope responded. “this may not be home, but at least we seem to be safe from unknown supernatural dangers.” she added with a light shrug of her shoulders, a heavy breath leaving her. when the other replied to her apology the brunette tugged on her lesser lip. josie had a point, yet she still felt the need to look after the other. “it may not be my job but that does not stop me from feeling guilty over not being there, guilty of leaving you in the middle of a disastrous situation.” not only that but she would’ve never been able to forgive herself if she lost the other without telling her how she truly still felt and had always felt about her. the love she has for josie is the most selfless thing she’d ever felt. “fine then. no protection, just us being by the other’s side. through the good and bad. i promise.” she told her with a smile that only came out when she was with josie.

“it truly is.” she agreed with a bit of a nod. with a sigh she allowed her self to inquire. “did you get to read the journal i left behind ?” she had to know if the other was now aware of things or not, if she wasn’t she’d now be the one to tell her, josie deserved to know the truth. keeping her fingers locked with josie’s she added. “i really was, jojo. i’ve always wanted nothing but the best for you.” she added and closed her eyes briefly. as she opened them and allowed her gaze to meet josie’s she said. “can we talk about us.” was there even a ‘them’ at this point, that was something penelope had to know.

“it is, yeah,” kevin nodded. “small town in new york. hidden away from most people,” he shrugged. it was like his little town didn’t want its secrets to be discovered, but it made sense to him. “colors and good taste is very important in fashion,” he nodded. “but riverdale wasn’t ready for such style,” he shook his head. “it’s always the best to have a friend who can tell you what does and doesn’t work.”

“oh that sounds interesting.” she said, she’d just recently learned about new york and the world she now lived it that she found every last bit of things to be fun yet intriguing. “most certainly. back on the isle i worked on my grandma’s hair salon and knowing colors was important, now matching that to someone’s style was always a challenge. but i like to think i did a good job at it.” she added with a smile. “well that is their lost. nut hey if you ever need someone to help you out with that sort of things, you can come to me.” it was weird to say this to someone you’d just met but dizzy was known to be social and friendly with all of those who showed her kindness and this man did just that by helping her pick the perfect dress.

the full moon was one secret that teddy didn’t tell anyone about, usually filled to the core with lies about leaving the day of the full moon, especially knowing that he’ll be more irritable than usual, and no one deserved that. but he mentioned needing a guitar, a new one that he reserved and that he would disappear for the day and something about a meet-up with other bands. and teddy left, insisting he needed to get used to muggle transportation, yet apparating to a rural part of new york, where he knew no harm would be given if he played refugee.

and the night had been draining, where his bones cracked where he shifted, even though he could technically shift during any given day - but under the full moon everything was amplified. he wasn’t in his usual state of mind, yet it was all kept hidden by his lies. and he wanted to go back to dc, felt a strong urge when he woke up exhausted and sore, knowing that he needed to buy that guitar and want of getting victoire a little something too. so he apparated back, got his guitar, and a silver necklace for victoire, before taking a train back into washington dc.

he entered into their apartment, a small smile on his lips as he tucked the electric guitar against the wall, and presented the small tiffany blue bag towards the other while pressing a kiss against her lips. “surprise?” teddy offered the other with a smile, a peak of white teeth showing. “i couldn’t come back empty handed and it does say new york on it.”

as of recently there had been some days where victoire questioned her relationship with teddy. not her feelings or his whatsoever, but the relationship as a whole. the two were happy most of the time and he truly was the one she loved and wanted to be with for the rest of her days. however; lately there were times in which he would leave for days, always with the same excuses. this time it was a guitar and his band going to new york. victoire wanted to believe him but the doubt still bothered her.

regardless of her thoughts though, the male always made it up for being away. with actions, gestures and words. as soon as he was back victoire would forget about the negative thoughts running through her mind and everyone would go back to normal. and this time it was no exception. as soon as she received that message that he would be back that day, the blonde forgot about her insecurities. instead of worrying she decided to prepare dinner for when the male got home.

hearing the door of their apartment open brought a smile to her features. without saying anything she quickly embraced him, her lips colliding with his for a brief kiss. “i’m so happy you’re back. i missed you.” she expressed before seeing the gift he had brought her. “you didn’t have to babe.” she responded as she took the blue bag from him. “thank you.” she said as she pulled the small box out of the bag and opened it. “it’s beautiful. wanna help me put it on ?”

jay almost laughed, but fell short. he hated not knowing and it was getting harder and harder to loss that feeling aside day to day. “i… still don’t know who that is,” he admitted with an apologetic smile. “if it helps, i barely knew who my own father was.” he paused, nodding, “i was trying to explain to a girl, audrey, but i think i was just annoying her.”

“this whole thing is so confusing so i don’t blame you for not knowing. in fact i don’t know who half the people here are. i barely know the people from back home and now i’m being told that i’m just part of a fairytale. like i said it’s all just extremely confusing on all sides. with or without memories.” she expressed with a sigh. “audrey. i remember her and the things she did.” she simply added.
