What’s so bad about periods
At first I was like “no don’t reblog it’ll weird people out” then I was like “oh right that’s the point”
You also lose iron during menstruation. I actually passed out because of that yesterday.
Also shout out to all trans, gender-fluid or genderless people with menstruation out there! Periods don’t make you female. Only you define your gender!
Actually there is a good chance that is not the lack of iron making you pass out but instead drops on blood pressure!
I found this out recently. I’ve always been told my fainting/dizzy spells during my period were iron related but I did some research and because I have a history of low blood pressure and fainting related to it (in times of a restricted diet and pregnancy) it’s far more likely that’s the reason I’m fainting
A lot of other AFAB people report the same
I ended up in the hospital due to severe blood loss and needed transfusions to recover
Not to mention the dip in your immune system when you lose that much blood, just because of all the white blood cells pouring out along with the rest of it.
Or the fact that a lot of the painful/severe symptoms associated with periods are actually due to medical problems that need to be addressed, but people don’t know this because no one wants to talk about it and associate most of the symptoms with a fictional version of PMS

ok so like i just watched titanic, which i havent watched in years, and PLEASE someone give me a huma titanic fic. im sorry, i NEED THE TEARS. it wouldnt even matter how it was done. whether they were both poor and it was friends to lovers, or whether one was rich and one was pretty much homeless, i would KILL for this, ok?
other characters could still be included too. ben could just be rich and important, or maybe hes like the son of the guy who made titanic? something that keeps his importance, yknow? carlos and evie are both from wealthy families and grew up as close friends, but the perfect images of their lives that the public sees is far from the truth. mal and jay are skint and long since disowned by their parents. maybe they think going to america and finding their families could do them some good. audrey is a veruca salt type at first, and very snobby, but i do think she should have character development and slowly realise poorer people arent that bad. she and ben are in an arranged marriage, but theres not really any love in it. audreys trying to convince herself she loves him and theyre not just very close friends, whereas ben gave up on doing that years ago. obviously theres more characters, but these are just a few examples, and you wouldnt have to go with them either.
will someone do it if i tell you im sick? *imagine this really dramatic, in a british accent, as i throw my hand to my head* huma is my only comfort in these sad, sad times..

ASEXUALS AND AROMANTICS BELONG IN THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY.
A few days ago I said on Facebook that aces belong to LGBT+ spaces and a group of exclu assholes jumped at my throat, it was so frustrating 😭
Masterlist of my Descendants Fics (so far) for those who haven’t read them:
Cursed-Borns of the Lost Isle and Beyond- Percy Jackson AU. Incomplete, 54,555 words. Sea Three focused, with the pirate crew as characters. Other Descendants characters are also there.
The Worst is Now the Victor- Hunger Games AU. Incomplete, 56,961 words. Sea Three focused, with bits of Blue Crew sprinkled in. More ships to appear later.
Auradon Prep Presents “Into the Woods”- all the characters are in the drama club. Incomplete, 29,319 words. Some measure of focus on everyone, but the most prominent arcs are Audrey getting in with the Sea Three and all of the VKs coming to terms with their pasts.
Necronaissance, a Story of Impossible Children- lore heavy, atmospheric. Magic suddenly returns really powerfully between D2 and D3 (so D3 never happens) and everyone has to deal with it. Examines the nature of magic and how it interacts with the Descendants universe and characters. Also Peter Pan is there. Incomplete, 53,432 words. Even more of a focus-on-everyone thing.
Where the Angels Used to Be- Good Omens AU. Audrey is an angel, Uma is a demon, and they’ve been living on Earth since the beginning. Harry and Gil are human, and the Core Four are the Four Horsemen. Incomplete, 24,281 words. In order of focus, it’s like Audruma, then Sea Three, then Core Four. I think. Maybe switch the first two; it’s pretty close. Basically Sea Three + Audrey.
Best Friend’s Wedding- Evie sneaks off during the Bal wedding, meets Audrey in the bathroom, and they have a heart-to-heart. Complete, unless I add a chapter like people have been asking me to, 5,456 words. Audrevie focus. Fluff and angst, the opposite of a slow burn.

HONESTLY, I THOUGHT WE WERE SUPPOSED TO GET THAT!
China posted a video way back of herself getting a cast made of her head. I thought that was for eithe BL S2 or Descendants 3. Since Jennifer Pierce was never turned to stone or whatever, I thought Uma would get turned to stone in D3. BUT SHE WASN’T!
I thought if she was stone, Harry might have a mini, quiet, super timid reprise of One Kiss like holy shit this is life or death but love is taboo and she probably doesn’t feel the same type of vibe.
But we didn’t get it oh well 🤷🏻♂️
