This isn’t a new thought and idk if anybody has actually said this before, but it is so so important that Marinette was given the ladybug miraculous and Adrien get the cat.

Marinette is clumsy, she’s used to falling/destroying breaking things and just generally wreaking havoc and causing chaos, so with the ladybug she’s able to create things and build things back up.

Adrien was forced to be this perfect, unbreakable human being who doesn’t step a toe out of line, so the cat lets him be destructive/let loose and be free.

They’re both yin and yang with each other but also within themselves as their different forms, and I kind of love that.
