My dislike for Tory really pertains to season 2. I can’t let it slide. I can’t let it slide how she attacked Sam, scarred her arm, put her in the hospital and gave her PTSD. And then I have to remember that she didn’t really face any consequence aside from being dropped from school and put on probation. And no writers, making Tory’s life harder does not undo any of that!

I blocked an account yesterday (not naming names because I’m not trying to be messy), but they were discussing the scene where Sam goes to Tory’s house. They claimed that even after seeing Tory’s living situation, Sam still didn’t seem to care — and that’s what they expected from her. They acknowledged that Tory put Sam in the hospital, but somehow still shifted the focus back to Sam not realizing her privilege.

At this point, I can’t with this fandom anymore. What’s wild is that Sam has acknowledged her privilege before — like when she helped Robby and Miguel. Those are clear examples of her using her privilege in a positive way.

i'm barely here anymore myself because of people like that. i think i know what acc you're talking about and i've blocked them months ago lmao they're a joke. for some people sam will always be the villain in tory's story. when in my opinion tory didn't even deserve sam's forgiveness in the first place. ofc sam was spoiled her whole life yes but she isn't a brat. she always helped everyone and she was the most against bullying person in that school.

sam is hated because her heart was always in the right place. even when it was broken. and that pisses people off. she's a teenager trying to do her best with the cards she was dealt, just like tory. but sam didn't put anyone in the hospital or started a fight that almost killed miguel

I recently came across a post of someone saying that the scene of no one going after Tory was meant to show that she is always going to be alone and like I disagree because that’s what the writers want the audience to believe despite people who care for her literally being right there.

sam was there for her and her parents too, johnny was there for her, not to mention robby. but she chose to run to kreese. and it was not because she didn't have anybody else that's utter bullshit. they were all in shock that's why nobody went after her. because nobody there knew what it's like to loose a parent at that age besides johnny and johnny not going after her never felt right to me. but the writers wanted us to cry out "poor tory" at the top of our lungs

you know what, it really did make everyone look bad. even if it doesn't make sense at all because she had people who cared about her right there. but they wanted to make it seem she was alone because they wanted to make us like tory. they shoved her sob story down our throats to say she had reasons to be a bad person
