as much as i know young stan liked to swear, its infinitely funnier to me to have him say “freaking”
If Ratatouille mechanics were real, there would be a whole market of businesses offering the services of operating rats to people who want them, and it'd be like how bees produce honey. People in the rat business would be so exhausted of having to explain over and over again that no, the rats aren't being exploited. If the rats didn't like how they're being treated, they would simply not return. There's no goddamn way to force a rat to be so passionate about playing the saxophone that they'll figure out how to puppeteer a human to do it for them. All that the business does is finding a way to put that specific rat in the hair of someone who's about to go on stage.
The rats 100% think the businesses are being run for their benefit and worry about the humans being exploited.
A rat manager who is a rat and deals on their end of the deal is exhausted of having to explain over and over again that look, an average fully grown adult human being is like 200 times your weight, their hands are very fast and they can throw things better than you want to imagine. If one of them things didn't want you in their hair, you're not going to stay there for long. You'd be yote out the window in two seconds flat.
Been getting into ceramics lately
How do they taste man
It hasn’t even been five minutes. Why do so many of you think I’m eating it. It hasn’t even been five minutes.
Yeah yeah whatever how do they taste man
Not so good.
My mother has always had a penchant for animals. My childhood was a rotating catalogue of cats, dogs, horses, goats, sheep, and countless others that would come briefly into our lives before going on to a new homes or perishing.
None was as notorious as Hooch. Hooch was a Rottweiler, and to this day I have no idea where my mom found him. He might have been a stray, an unwanted dog from a friend, or an impulse get at the shelter. He was a massive creature, 120lbs of dense muscle. He was very friendly.
Except that the thing Hooch loved best in the entire world was humping things. I don’t remember if he was altered, I think he was, but that dog would hump anything alive under a certain weight class. Sheep, goats, other dogs, and most unfortunately, me and my siblings.
Weighing considerably less than he did and standing at the height of his shoulder it was no wonder we classed into a category of sexual viability for the worlds horniest dog. Attempts were made to discourage this behavior but my mom has never been a dog trainer and negative reinforcement had no effect upon his simple soul.
He saw a child, he charged in to hump that child. My mom is not perfect, but at least recognized that for a seven year old having a beast three times your relative mass bearing down on you with buggery on the mind might be traumatic.
Hooch was then restrained into a dog run any time a child might cross his path. He pined for attention and for things to slake his lust upon, and eventually it was decided Hooch must find a new home.
But he got one last hurrah. With a day until he left for his new home my brother entered the backyard all unwitting that Hooch wasn’t contained to his pen. I had hung back and so I watched as Hooch launched himself at the first person through the gate, landing atop my brother, and began joyously thrusting at him.
My mom ran in moments later as my brother shrieked and hauled the massive animal away, still pumping his pelvis, trying to say his goodbyes the only way he knew how- with his penis.

the real answer to almost every "does [identity A] belong in [identity B] spaces" question is actually just "these spaces are informal social groups and if you're cool you can hang, don't worry about it"
You can be Homer Simpson at the lesbian bar. It's fine. Don't worry about it.
not without those fire exits I'm not. have fun in your death trap, ladies
Gets stuck in the past and makes a random village get way smarter and less violent in a generational sense because I keep smacking people over the head with a stick and telling them that it’s the devil’s metal whenever they try to use lead for something in my presence and there develops a very niche regionalized superstition that an angry warlock will jump out of a tree and beat the shit out of you if you touch lead with your bare hands
Gets excommunicated by the Catholic Church for telling people that they can banish the devil from their water if they boil it therefore saving hundreds of people from a cholera outbreak but I don’t care and keep trying to convince the locals to use soap more often
Meets another iseksied person in the far past and beats the shit out of them for participating in the slave trade and eating moldy bread
Gets seen as crazy when I say I’m distilling peppermint oil to banish the miasma but people start asking to have some real quick when the Black Death comes to town and I am unaffected due to my constantly minty fresh house repelling rodents and fleas alike
genuinely I'm so sick of people wanting all fiction to be ethical. can we all just get a little gross with it. the point of fiction is that it's not real. we can be unethical in fiction; same goes with being perverted with fiction, being unrealistic with fiction, and being grotesque with fiction. not all fiction has to be ethical, not every character has to be ethical, and that's okay. can we stop with the puritanism. be gross. be unrealistic. be whatever. if I don't like it it's not my business as long as we're all clear that its fictional.
via ered.bsky.social, the only kinds of unethical fiction:
people in the replies are going "what about books glorifying unethical things" and "what if it's propaganda" and you, my friends, are who this comic was made for
Maybe one reason time seems to speed up in adult life is because when your full time job leaves you roughly 5 hours of free time a day plus two days off a week your life turns into a sort of monotony that makes the days blend together and creative pursuits move in slow motion as you can only get to them when other your commitments are done.
When you look back and think damn 2019 wasn’t that long ago where did the time go? Job. Your Job took it.
one time i was making potato soup and i needed broth for it but i was out of broth. but in my dog food cabinet there was a carton of chicken broth that i had bought for my dog. now the box did say HUMAN GRADE and the ingredients were just bog standard chicken broth. it did say something about joint health for dogs on there. but the ingredients were normal. i even compared the ingredients list to some normal person broth and they were the same. so i did put dog broth in that soup and it did taste completely normal. but i did use the dog broth.
sorry, prev, your tags are too true to be silenced
THE GOBLIN
A short comic about a mysterious creature living with the monks of a secluded abbey.
I made this comic five years ago, and it's still probably one of the most personal things I've written.
If you'd like to support more of my comics, consider preordering my new graphic novel, THE PALE QUEEN, wherever you get books.

how is he red-green colorblind???
he’s regular blind.
personally i think it'd be super funny if erid was like, REALLY concerned about the ethical implications of "keeping an intelligent individual "trapped" in an enclosure where they might feel pressured to not speak up and simply do what other eridians tell them out of fear of death", so they have a whole ethics committee full of social workers and eridian rights lawyers and stuff. meanwhile grace is just like "hey my zookeepers, can you make it rain in my cage tomorrow. thanks <3"
Because everyone keeps asking about it.
These Bastards are available as prints, cards and postcards over on RedBubble.
I’ve had a go at making stickers out of these and it’s bloody horrendous. So I hope you all can suffice with prints for now.
