They stare at the dining table, standing in the buttoned-up silence just an armâs length apart. Weirdly, Shouyou canât think of anything to say, and itâs making him sweat under his borrowed clothes. Itâs not like he hasnât been chatting up strangers left and right at crowded tables in city cafĂ©s. Why is this suddenly so hard?Â
Thereâs a single thought that runs through Shouyouâs mind in a loop. He blurts it out before the silence gets too long and he loses his nerve: âCan I keep seeing you?â
