Gonna happen home brew tomorrow night. So stoked. #beer #beerporn #craftbeer #beernerd #beerlove #instabeer #goodbeer #801beer #beeroftheworld #homebrew #diybeer
#Namaste #dogfishhead #lemon #Beer #Craftbeer #craftbeers #brew this is a great beer by dog fish head. The #Delaware beer at it's best. The lemonGrass is perfect the orange is subtle. Smooth and crisp start to finish. The coriander is there but I wouldn't know if it is or not. Fruity aroma and flat out my favorite dog fish head brew. (Taken with Instagram)

Still waiting
I figured I would try my brew again today and well, it is not ready. It is still a little flat. It has more flavor now but still not quite there. At this time I think the best thing to do is use the set and forget method and resist all possible urges to drink from the tap until it is ready.
In my readings some times it takes approx three weeks but time and patients seem to be the best way. Some people say to force carb by cranking the PSI to 30 for about 24hours then rock or shake the keg. This is not good for the beer, even the BYO wizard does not suggest this method. I can see what makes people want to shake it but it just clouds the beer. I like it clear unless it is a Hefe but that is a different story.
So I set it to about about 14 psi because the temp causes it drop a bit and then I will wait about 2 more weeks and things should be ready to drink I will keep you posted.
Hydrometer reading brought to you by midwest brewing supplies. They make it simple.

Tell the User!
Do you hate getting the call like this?
"Uh, so I opened my door to my office turned on my monitor and my computer was not working"
I sure as hell do. Because I bluntly (I am rude and the worst helpdesk agent with some folks) follow up with:
"OK, if you didn't do anything to it today what was the last thing you did and when, remember I can tell what you did and didn't do."
Well I got so fed up with it I looked for a way to mitigate these type of calls and emails. Over the course of three months researching and documenting I found that in addition to restricting more "non dangerous" sites I have started having one on one discussions with persons in a non technical format. See users, even the non techy ones, like to know what is going on in their office it is that desire to be nosy and by telling them articles you read or why certain blocks are in place it helps.
In my office, we are a small group of 28 and three other offices 70+ miles east, south and north of our office, I review our AV and firewall logs everyday and remind users that I do this in our meetings and when there is an infection or even the false positive I go in and do a full on sweep to clean the machine and instead of tunnel vision I tell them these viruses and other dangerous viruses are here because you accidentally went a to trusted site and that site had some bad stuff hidden in what you thought was safe. I then follow up with a "Dont feel bad because it happens to all of us." And that is true, Drive-by-downloading, Cross-site-scripting and SQL Injections can happen to anyone even the top IT gurus, granted it is less common.
The overall key that I am trying to convey is that no matter how secure your network is your users have to be aware and educated. Telling Tom, Jane and the boss that if you go here you can be susceptible to X Y & Z and that is why protocol 23 and port 1023 is blocked wont mean the price of tea to them. But simply saying that hackers are motivated now by money and attacks are random, because they really seem to be for the most part, it "scares" the thought of man I better not do this anymore and just stick to looking at Anime and CTRL+ALT+DEL comics when I am home.
So in summation, keep the team up to speed with what you are doing but use analogies that make sense and use real world examples SANS reading room and the SANS tip of the day are great for this. Thanks for reading.

Homebrew
I'm about to make some Homebrew. Inbred to exercise but I'm golfing tomorrow and it's late. Kids and school wear a parent out.
My beer is a hefe. It will be awesome.

Specified Network Name is No longer available
OK I was I trying to join a vista machine to a server 2k3 domain and I kept getting the error above.
After searching and verifying that computer browser and other services were enabled and running I decided to disable the IPv6 on the client PC. We wouldn't you know it that works.
So if you have trouble getting the client added to the domain trying removing ipv6 on the client.
Day 4
Yoga today. It was fun and the first time I ever attempted yoga. I feel energetic afterwards and during it was relaxing.
Now it wasn't easy by any means, So if you're a beginner like I was take your time and remember form is everything.
Update
Woke up couldn't sleep. Make sure youre committed from start to finish. P90X is not a breeze. I have been working out for about 6 years with 5 month layoff and I learned a lot about my bad form and ego.
Keep at it don't give up!
Day 3
Shoulders biceps and triceps. Hard freaking routine! I had to drop my weight load three times.
it was nuts, I did stuff I thought was easy but I need to check my ego.
I like it because you're constantly moving and working. It's crazy and Tony reminds you form and control are everything.
After three days every part of my body is sore. The food ideas on the nutrition guide are great and I can't think of anything else right now.
Day 2
So day 2 was polymetriX. Now mind you my leg is jacked still from surgery. So it was harsh and I certainly favored my good leg. But it still kicked by but.
