I don't think I'm completely done with this idea, but it's getting there. Tell me what you think about it either in my inbox or in a comment.
My girlfriend needed the image of the wombat on top to be a zombat.
Hail Il Duce!
It's Sinistar as Benito Mussolini!
The original image matched up with Sinistar so will, I just had to make a gif out of it.

In retrospect...
I think I won't be making a new tumblr about gridded posters. I had fun making the logo, but upon looking up posters to do, the implied grid on the majority of them are simple enough to see almost instantly.
If I do make a new tumblr any time soon, it will be for my 9 Pixels High series, which I would love to continue making tons of.
Sorry if you were looking forward to seeing grid it guys. I loved the concept, but the substance wasn't quite there.
Letting go of your babies is the most difficult part of any process, and I figure I might as well let this one go before I get too attached.
I'm thinking about a new blog called "grid it" which would map out the implied grid on posters, advertisements, and whatever else I can find.
I find myself looking at poorly designed posters constantly, and I believe an analysis of high quality posters could help not only myself, but also others become better designers.
What do you guys think? Do you think it would help? Would you enjoy it?
