Evil occurs when we are not focused on God, His love for us, Jesus Christ or how we have been truly blessed through the atonement. When we lose this focus and our faith wains (even just a little bit), we give Satan space to come in and take a hold of our life. We give Satan space to grow and crawl into our minds and bodies. Yet, if we remain committed to God and keep our covenants with Him, we can stop Satan from sneaking in. When we focus on God, we become better people.
