One of my favorite memories from last year is standing with some boys from my class (typical loud bro type dudes) and talking about prom. I casually mentioned “oh yeah I might bring this (British word for cigarette) from otherschool”.

These four guys went completely silent, looking at me like I had said the nuclear codes. We had just had a school wide conversation about being chill with gay people and boy howdy these guys where AGAST at my use of derogatory language.

I look up at them, standing there in a pun tee shirt and sharp eyeliner and blink.

“I’m gay.” I say, an eyebrow raised.

For the next minute these guys exhale relief and tell me they don’t judge by appearances. The best part? Most of them had known me since middle school. Aka they’d SEEN ME KISSING AND DATING PEOPLE OF THE SAME GENDER/NONBINARY.

True allyship.

Aight so I just figured smth out about the upcoming game ‘Mermaids Tounge’, being the 4th installment in the detective grimoire games series.

(SPOILERS AHEAD!!!)

So we can ignore the first game here - mostly because I don’t even know if it’s playable anymore.

The second game - Detective Grimoire, secrets of the swamp - has a focus on one of the three Remington siblings, Richard Remington aka the victim.

In the second - Tangle Tower, there’s also a distinct focus on one of the siblings, Flora Fellow (Nee. Remington).

All of this to say, in the upcoming 4th installment it’s very likely we’ll see a focus on the last of the siblings, Primrose Remington, aka Poppy’s mom and Professor Pointer ex (?) wife. Pointer says in the first game simply “she went away”, likely shortly after Poppy was born, and it’s confirmed later she seemed to be part of the mystid hunting group and has been already killed by Penny by the time the game starts, but likely she’ll have some kind of connection in the 4th game - since it’s already established ghosts exist in this universe maybe she’ll show up that way?

I need to explain this - Lagoona x Frankie is actually a good ship probably.

I will never understand why Lagoona and Gil didn’t get broken up but Cleo and Duce did LIKE IM SORRY??? GIL CHEATED WITH A FRESHWATER GIRL AND DUCE BEGGED CLEO TO STAY BECAUSE HE KNEW THEIR LOVE COULD SURPASS TRADITON. like obvi one was meant to be and the other was meant to be kissing girls.

And then in comes Frankie - the person who understands being treated strange for features they can’t control better than ANYONE. And Lagoona, who’s literally being hated on for being Saltwater fish when that’s just her…fish type idk.

Ok more stuff about superheroes being normal civilians/out of drag because it’s late and i like the concept.

Wonder Woman really likes Herbal teas since they sort of remind her of her childhood and also it’s just nice to have tea in the morning - there is a whole drawer in her kitchen dedicated to tea boxes, most of which are loose leaf.

Green Lantern and Flash have a weekend tradition of playing super Mario brothers which started because Lantern was ranting about the inaccuracies of the space tracks in that game so now they play it and come up with a viable car race track (aka drawing tracks and keeping a notes app on an email to devs that will probably never happen.)

A very normal trip to the park in which Bruce takes his son and his son’s cow (bat cow the legend they are) to a local playground.

Clark visits the farm nearly every holiday and *will* help out with the work load whether his parents want him to or not.

Also he makes really, REALLY good pumpkin pie thanks to Martha. It’s a secret family recipe and absolutely nobody but her and Clark know it.

Bruce probably took some online acting course in his early twenties or so to further develop his ‘brucie’ persona, which in my mind would have just been the first YouTube video he could find after working himself into a neurotic mess at like 4 in the morning.

Green Arrow/Oliver probably has a peloton. He has peloton vibes. Probably put some variation of ‘Green Arrow’ as his username but it’s ok because most people will just assume he’s a mega fan.

Characters for my DG fancase: A Curious Collection!! After the murder of Newly-famed Curator Mindy Marrow, Grimoire and Sally are called in for the case. Can they solve the mystery of both the death… and a missing artifact?

It is such a funny concept to me of Dc heroes out of drag or whatever (civilian form? Whatever).

Like, Clark very passionately explaining to one of his co-workers the importance of proper farm management because they’re doing a cover story on some farm in metropolis. Or like, cracking dad jokes because those really are genuinely funny to him. Calling his morning coffee a “cup of joe”.

Bruce attempting to explain to his many children what the stock market is (they are listening but barely) and Bruce having to draw out a rough graph using printer paper and one of Damian’s crayons because that’s what was closest. Very excitedly showing up to every dance recital/concert/school play because *those are his kids* and he loves them goddamnit.

Green lantern trying to show said batkids how to master archery and/or training with Bruce in the Wayne manor gym and he keeps making terrible puns he gets from those “a pun a day” calendars (Bruce pretends to hate it but truthfully finds it mildly amusing. Ollie doesn’t have to know that though.)

The various supers and sidekicks trying to have a very normal bbq or game night and to them it *is* normal but to literally anybody else it would look like a bunch of billionaires, a news reporter and like 20 kids + in somebodies backyard???

Like those are actual humans behind the mask and it makes me giggle to think of them doing normal people things because it seems so… strange to think about Bruce having Sunday breakfast with his family or Clark watching a football game with the same excitement of your average suburban dad (aka going crazy at every touchdown to the point neighbors can probably hear you) or whatever.

Detective Grimoire fancase!!! Still gotta name it but we don’t gotta talk about that.

This would take place on a secluded mountain range, where dragons slumber below. It’s much a shock to Sally and Grimoire to hear this - but every inhabitant claims the dragons had nothing to do with the death.

Spoilers for the kinda maybe plot???

1. Peter Pilos - one of Remington’s hunters! He’s still hiding secrets about it - but his office holds the remains of his past. These days he’s holed up in there, but search hard enough and you’ll find a letter from an old friend…

2. Simone Silverwater, the tavern keeper! Not much to say, she’s a chipper person and enjoys gossip over a hot cup of coffee. A fan of the dragons - so long as they don’t make her spill her drink.

3 Aurelia Arkwood, head (aka the only one) dragon trainer. This mostly means behavior, after all no member of Pilos point would want the dragons to do something wrong… or get in some trouble because of it. She’s got a little sibling that you meet inside.

We are isolated now’: Communications lost with many parts of Gaza (from Al Jazeera's live update, by reporter Tareq Abu Azzoum, 16:25 GMT)

We don’t know about anything that is happening in other districts in the territory. Maybe there are new bombardments taking place in these areas. We don’t know how many victims. We can only hear bombardments everywhere, but we don’t know any anything about the casualties, about the situation on the ground. We don’t know anything also about the medical conditions of doctors, medical workers, even at the Al-Shifa Hospital [the largest in Gaza]. The situation is catastrophic right now.  We can no longer communicate with the international community to send our voice to the world to know what is happening on the ground. I hope that this message might  reach and have an access to the world despite what we have experienced throughout the last hour. We are now in a hospital and we are going to be live by satellite as much as we can and every single hour. So please, if you can hear us, send that message to the world that we are isolated now in Gaza. We don’t have any phone signals. We don’t have any internet connections. We found great difficulty even to communicate and contact with our relatives in different parts of the territory. Journalists here, even the citizens inside the hospital, they don’t have any access to the networks. They don’t have any kind of communication even with their neighbors. There is a great problem in the network connections. We don’t know how it’s dropped. We don’t know if it was targeted. The situation on the ground is really terrible. Everyone is afraid, everyone is terrified. Please ,guys, if you can hear us send this message to the world that we are becoming isolated. Al Jazeera currently only has sporadic communication with correspondents in Gaza following the latest strikes on the besieged enclave.

1.Tyler Toadson is the town mayor, has been since anyone (save for the older members of this odd crew) can remember. Why, he was the one to crown Delilah the beauty queen back in her day! While there’s no doubt he’s a good man, his been acting off lately… something about funding?

2. Delilah Donna is WillowVeiw’s pageant/beauty queen… from years ago. It’s no rumor she hasn’t moved on since her glory days… but surely that means nothing in the grand scheme of things, right?

Here’s my assumptions about you based on your favorite school subject.

Math: if your favorite subject is math there is truly no hope for you. God must wonder why this subject was even created and the mere thought someone actually looks forward to this class makes me laugh. On the upside your probably getting good grades so good for you. 50/50 chance of peaking in highschool tho.

English: Your favorite Disney princess was Belle as a child, and you’ve definitely had a pick me phase but it’s all good and done now so yippee. You also own a lot of cringy tee shirts with sayings like “I prefer books over parties” or “PROUD BOOKWORM” on them from relatives that don’t know what to get you for the holidays.

P.E: Oh boy I dislike you. One word; LOUD. You peaked in highschool. Or are about to.

Art: I mean me too so this is a self roast. Anyways, your probably anti social or only have like 2 friends and keep using your art as an escape. Also don’t do drugs we can’t keep up that stereotype it’s not a good time.

Science of any kind: Idk man but people who like science are always the ones you least expect so I guess your chill? Hard background character energy tbh.
