The theory of Astral Planes
We live in a multidimensional universe - which in itself has universes within it.
I like to think of it as an astral plane with three different axis, with people who make up these planes. On either end of the spectrum lie the extremes, and an outlier orbits them. This is one way of looking at the world.
The Lotus:
This plane consists of people who were born with a silver spoon in their mouth with stretches far beyond finance and wealth. These are people who were born with good looks, intelligence, wit and all the traits that instantly make you a “crowd favourite”.
People within this plane might know the hardships of the world but can never fully fathom the extent of their impact. Unfortunately should fate deal them a bad card in the latter years of their life they become hopeless and their entire existence merges with that of Murphy’s testament.
Murphy’s Testament (MT):
Murphy’s testament is the plane inhabited by those who have been dealt the worst hand and had no chance from the moment of their birth.
These poor souls are born unlikable, unattractive, and have bear no personality traits that would make them stand out from the crowd in a positive way. Their entire existence is an uphill battle, only made worse by the ever present rock slide which is confrontation and interaction with the Lotus dwellers.
Like the Lotus, Murphy’s testament can also experience the rare change of tide. However, the normally depressed MT will only see this as a temporary phase and will not seize the moment, thus effectively thrusting them back in to the dark pit from once they came.
The Riser:
 Most people would look at this as a hybrid between The Lotus and Murphy’s Testament.
The Riser sits on the last plane and does have characteristics from either planes, but it’s a completely free standing plane. Born with neither attractive nor unlikable traits, the Riser is the most interesting plane.
Often neglected and left to it’s own. The Riser isn’t born with success or failure already mapped out. These people are only given opportunities or threats and nothing more. In the earlier stages of their lives before they have too much say in what they can or can’t do; they struggle, fight depression and have fits of mania. Often confusing themselves for either Lotus or MT, the Riser at it’s prime is truly a rare sight.
In the case where the Riser does make it out of their younger years and past all the obstacles of the MT plane and learns how to harness the attributes they can control from the Lotus, the Riser lives up to it’s name and rises until all it can do is soar.
All these variants exist on the smae astral plane and often people get confused about who they are and what they can truly accomplish. Not to say that if you’re a Lotus you are guaranteed success; or failure for the MT, but rather learn your strengths and weaknesses and build on that.
That’s my plan at least.Â
