i don’t have a nervous system. i am a nervous system
Being sick when you have a chronic illness is weird. Is this a new symptom? is it a normal symptom getting worse? have I caught a rare virus from a swarm of gnats? or is it something I ate?
i wish house was real and we all could’ve gone to him at the beginning and obviously being house, the fact that all our tests came back negative would intrigue him and he would do everything he could until he found the answer and omg that would be so great
23 Emotions people feel, but can’t explain

Énouement: The bittersweetness of having arrived in the future, seeing how things turn out, but not being able to tell your past self.
Vellichor: The strange wistfulness of used bookshops.
Rubatosis: The unsettling awareness of your own heartbeat.
Kenopsia: The eerie, forlorn atmosphere of a place that is usually bustling with people but is now abandoned and quiet.
Mauerbauertraurigkeit: The inexplicable urge to push people away, even close friends who you really like.
Jouska: A hypothetical conversation that you compulsively play out in your head.
Chrysalism: The amniotic tranquility of being indoors during a thunderstorm.
Vemödalen: The frustration of photographic something amazing when thousands of identical photos already exist.
Anecdoche: A conversation in which everyone is talking, but nobody is listening
Ellipsism: A sadness that you’ll never be able to know how history will turn out.
Kuebiko: A state of exhaustion inspired by acts of senseless violence.

Exulansis: The tendency to give up trying to talk about an experience because people are unable to relate to it.
Adronitis: Frustration with how long it takes to get to know someone.
Rückkehrunruhe: The feeling of returning home after an immersive trip only to find it fading rapidly from your awareness.
Nodus Tollens: The realization that the plot of your life doesn’t make sense to you anymore.
Onism: The frustration of being stuck in just one body, that inhabits only one place at a time.
Liberosis: The desire to care less about things.
Altschmerz: Weariness with the same old issues that you’ve always had – the same boring flaws and anxieties that you’ve been gnawing on for years.
Occhiolism: The awareness of the smallness of your perspective.
omg this is a goldmine <3
I tried to type TIREDNESS and it came out as TIREDMESS which is probably more accurate

Inspirational Illustrations Pay Homage to the Beauty of Nature by Katie Daisy
Oregon-based illustrator Katie Daisy admits to being raised by “birds and warm breezes” in a small town, “where she was brought up among the other wildflowers with roots planted deeply in the natural world.” Deeply impassioned by nature, Daisy’s aim is to interpret the beauty of Mother Earth she has engraved deeply in her velvet bones.
She hopes to convey the message of our surroundings through her adventurous and vibrant illustrations. Composed by watercolor, acrylic, photoshop, the watercolor creations contain messages of inspiration, love of beauty, poetry and nature expressed by the most influential minds in literature, art and humanity.
Adorned with floral patterns, constellations, landscape sceneries, and plants, Daisy’s work is a wildly romantic series, which urges everyone to dream. The small literary excerpts communicate the simple joys of life and the magic found in nature. You can find her entire collection in her Etsy shop.

When somebody says "You look healthy"
Not even joking.
Me everyday.
i think people need to stop glorifying sassiness and bitterness and start promoting the idea of actually being fucking nice and civil to people who did nothing to you.
To anyone with POTs
If you guys have terrible heat intolerance issues and it’s fucking with your life i highly recommend looking into this site www.polarproducts.com My aunt is a MS nurse (they have crazy heat intolerance) and my uncle has MS and they’ve used and recommended these products very highly. They have everything from bra cooling implants, to cooling pillows, to discrete vests, beach/exercise kits and cooling footwear. I just bought a ton of stuff off of it haha I’ve heard nothing but rave reviews about how it keeps you cool. So just a bit of a heads up for my pots people! The best way to find all the cooling products for women is to go to Browse—-women—-menopause haha :)
bringing this back since summer is upon us!
my fave greek history story to tell is that of agnodice. like she noticed that women were dying a lot during childbirth so she went to egypt to study medicine in alexandria and was really fucking good but b/c it was illegal for women to be doctors in athens she had to pretend to be a man. and then the other doctors noticed that she was 10x better than them and accused her of seducing and sleeping with the women patients. like they brought her to court for this. and she just looked at them and these charges and stripped in front of everyone like “yeah. im not fucking your wives” and then they got so mad that a woman was better at their jobs then them that they tried to execute her but all her patients came to court and were like “are you fucking serious? she is the reason you have living children and a wife.” so they were shamed into changing the law and that is how women were given the right to practice medicine in athens
i may be a pile of achey bones in a diseased flesh sack but at least it’s a pretty flesh sack
you can preach about slut-shaming all you want, but you can’t deny there’s something very wrong with 13 and 14-year old girls going out in skirts and dresses so short they barely cover their asses and shirts with necklines so low they show off cleave they haven’t got yet, drinking and even smoking and hooking up with guys before they even have a substantial knowledge of how sex and sexual relationships work.
Thank YOU
In Japan, radiation creates monsters (Godzilla) and in America radiation creates superheroes
Shockingly, it’s almost like Japan and America have very different narratives surrounding nuclear fallout. Now, if we all think very very hard, maybe someone could think of why this might be.
