The awkward part had went straight over her head, on the other, seeing as she was quite awkward herself. 

After giving herself a moment to calm down, though it was still clear that she was flustered, she managed a happy smile. "Thank you." Secretly she enjoyed being complimented so much. And again she reaches for another cupcake. Reina had yet to notice the way the sudden overload of sugar was starting to affect her system. All she knew was that the cupcakes were good and she’d eat as many as he let her. Aka, she’d probably end up eating most of them.

"I really do..." He bowed his head in admiration, trying to show how sincere he was. So he was normally a pretty cool guy, but that was always a facade he kept up. He didn't think his true self would be showing just because he was nervous. He was so tempted to turn ful-out asshole just to try and keep this facade working... Would he be able to, though? Just as an insult was on the tip of his tongue, the girl thanked him. He bit his tongue and averted his gaze, "I-It's no problem...." He smiled shyly and turned back to the girl. "You really like sweets, don't you, Reina-chan?" Chan. CHAN. Okay, that was... Oops. "I-I mean... Rei.. Reina...." He didn't normally use honorifics, given that most of his life, he lived in America, and no one used honorifics there... He still knew how to use them it's just. Damn it, Shouki.

« εїз »→; When he repeated his words she only nodded in return. Personally Reina didn’t think much of not having friends. It was hard to miss something that she never had. Sometimes she’d see people out and about and she’d envy them a bit. Sometimes when she was sitting around her house by herself she got a bit lonely. She simply assumed that this was the way she was meant to live, so she never really looked for friends.

The brunette noticed the slight color to his cheeks almost instantly, but she decided not to comment on it. She didn’t want to make it worse. Oh, but what if he was sick? Maybe she should bring it up… "E-Eh?" Too late, now she was blushing too. “I don’t think I’m like a P-Princess at all.” She really isn’t the best at taking compliments.

He's waaaaay too embarrassed now. Oh gosh, she's really cute. Too cute. Add glasses and she'd be perfect --but don't mind that --Shouki can use his vivid imagination to place some on the bridge of her nose for her. Maybe cute little rectangular specs? A half-bottom frame in a light pastel blue or pink would definitely look cute on her. Oh dear. Just thinking about it made his heart skip a beat!

"N-No! You're a beautiful Princess! Your name suits you --really!" And cue the awkward, shy Shouki who is anything but a ladies' man. "I mean... Er..." He picked up another cupcake and began eating it, shyly averting his gaze and hoping that Reina wouldn't notice how awkward he was.

« εїз »→; "I…I guess. I wouldn’t really know." Reina, now you’re being a little too honest. She had never really had any real friends before, so there was no way for her to know how they would act. She supposed it was similar to the relationship she used to have with her brother.

As he continued to chew she grabbed another cupcake. Oh, she was loving this right now, but with a lack of anything but sugar in her body it was likely she’d end up passing out later. Maybe if she maintained a healthy diet this wouldn’t be a problem. Having fun taking care of her when she starts to crash. "Shouki?" Reina repeated it, committing it to memory. "I like it!" The name seemed to fit him and she thoroughly enjoyed saying it. It rolled off her tongue quite nicely.

Shouki frowned, "Wouldn't really know?" Did she not have friends before? That thought brought a pang to his chest. Not having friends. He knew what that was like most of his life and when he did make some, they were... terrible. But currently, the ones he had were wonderful, even if they did bicker. He just hoped he wouldn't look back on his current friendships in the future and think they were bad...

Hearing the cute girl say his name --and then claim to like it made his negative thoughts disappear. It made his heart beat and his cheeks flush. He really did become flustered too easily! "Mm... I like your name too, Reina. It means 'Queen' in Spanish. Fitting, though you're more of a Princess, I think."

Ingredients: One cup frozen blueberries, five frozen strawberries, one whole banana, 1/4 cup (or three tablespoons) of nonfat vanilla Greek yogurt, and 1/3 cup of milk.

"A-Ah, well…" Deciding it was best to not try and speak, she simply continued to eat her cupcake, staring down at the ground to try to clear her head.

"D-Don't be shy about speaking. I'm sure anything you want to say is valid." He scratched his cheek before turning to the girl, a flustered smile on his face. He definitely fell for others easy despite him not wanting to be in a relationship.
