Semi Abstract Jax inspired by @x_birdy.artz_x
A little project I came up with. I wanted to show that maybe they won't be happy together in the canon, but we have our imaginations, guys, and that's enough for me. I also love the angst, haha.
Besides wanting to pay tribute to all those wonderful authors and their brilliant minds (lol), thank you for brightening my days. (I hope they see it, although it's more of a wish of mine than anything else, lol.)
What if the abstracted could spectate everything going in the circus? What if they can see the povâs of all the character and try to stop inevitable events???
So I am making an AU in which we can explore the point of views of the abstracted characters and their opinions of the characters and the circus itself. (Lets include dark comedy and gut wrenching mentally tortuous scenes)
(IK i said I will be away from Tumblr but I am a massive hypocrite, but I am avoiding remaining spoilers like a champ and I donât want my streak to be ruined by trolls in this comment section). Do let me know if I should start working on it right away or clear my study backlogsâ

While rewatching the series, I came across this one specific scene in Episode 2,
After seeing the way the cast hold a funeral for Kaufmo, Pomni learns that she can trust the circus members with her problems, showing that each and everyone has got her back. So this scene comes up where she is hopeful that the cast will hold onto her while she abstracts..
Everyone is holding her hand....except for Jax.
We all thought Jax wasn't here because he was an asshole who didn't care at all.
While in reality, he couldnât be there because he abstracted before her.......
(Oh my saylassss)
Also for clarity ik Jax is Transfem but imma refer him as he/him for now since he never got to expore his identity canonically. I will occasionally throw she/her or they/them in too when I am making fanarts of transfem Jax.
The Amazing Digital Circus: Episode 9 'REMEMBER' was.....
Even though I was spoiled about the major points, I was satisfied on how it was carried out.
Jax's storyline slapped man, as much as I hate to say it, I relate to him more now.
(BTW I did not cry even though I was hella depressed and that is, somewhat concerning cause that's some shit Jax would do bruh. Also Ribbit deserved better)
I've been recently focusing on myself, especially since I have made a shocking discovery about my asexuality...
Yeah I'm still sometimes confused about my sexuality and my choices soo....

Also, I've recently felt a gushing wave of confidence (and insecurity) at the same time abt this, but tbh being ace is one of the best thing that happened to me.

So hi, Ik I have taken a break but I just wanted to address all the spoilers of ep 9 and according to my judgement, they might be fake.
IDK much about the spoilers myself but I will list out what I have found out by now
JAX ABSTRACTS: I have been fucking spoiled about Jaxâs abstraction by a fucking comment in @patohasapencil âs recent short in youtube.
But to me, this soundsâŠ..baseless. Why would you abstract the same character which has a chance to be redeemed from his villainous nature (only if he wants)? This could be a bad idea consideringâ
IHNMAIMS parallel: Jax is a direct parallel of Ted, a cynical person who claims that AMâs torture never affected him while it was quite opposite. In the end of IHNMAIMS, Ted kills the others, freeing them but himself has to suffer by becoming a blob with no mouth to scream. There was no one to save TED.
But in Jaxâs case, there is someone to save him, who is none other than POMNI. POMNI was added to show that humanity still has hope, not like Harlen Ellisonâs hopeless view on human society. If Jax abstracts, not only it deprives TADC of its hopecore morale but also disregards Pomni, a literal helping hand in Jaxâs development.
Gooseworxâs self-insert: However it can also be possible because Jax is Gooseâs self-insert, and if you have read her post, she goes through self-loathing, which is why she tortures Jax endlessly. Jaxâs abstraction is like the final pillar of her self-hatred. (Idk about Gooseâs nature do correct me if Iâm wrong)
Audienceâs thought: However, this can also have cons since many people (including myself) sees a lot of themselves in Jax. His abstraction can be use in wrong terms that people like Jax arenât supposed to be part of a functional society and characters like us deserve to die. (Well in my opinion)
TRANSFEM JAX: I was scrolling through Tumblr when I found someone saying that Transfem Jax is canon.
Again, this just seems rushed. In a situation where every character is struggling to survive in a stagnant circus, adding Jaxâs transfeminity just makes it look unprofessional, like imagine suffering in that circus and Jax goes âOh yea I just realised that I want to be a girl!â. Thats just weird and even if Jax was transfem, it would be in vain if the first spoiler is true.
Personally, I have neutral opinion on TransJax theory. Donât get me wrong I love and support trans people, both masc and fem, what really annoys me is that how the fandom just assumed that Jax is trans just because he was âfeeling embarrassed wearing a maid dressâ and âhe has a pink feminine room because he is insecure of his feminine partsâ.
Take an exampleâ Goose once told that Pomni can be drawn in masc outfits (even tho its not a fact about her) and many a times Pomni is shown in masc outfits ,both episodes and merch . But the thing is no one assumes Pomni to be transmasc, while Jax just wore a maid dress and pink feminine room means he is transfem or will be one. A guy can like pink feminine things but that doesnât make them transfem. A guy can be feminine the same way a girl can be masculine.
Ik Jax is a fictional character but this assumption tells me a lot about how many people view others with the same insecurities. However if it is canon, I really wouldnât mind it and respect Gooseworx choice because at the end TADC is HER SHOW. Not to mention I can see a possibility because Goose is transfem and Jax is again, her self-insert. I donât really also mind this theory considering Jaxâs line on being a âchicken fetus in a egg that needs to be cracked openâ in ep 6.
EVEN THOUGH THESE ARE MY OPINION ON THE RECENT SPOILERS (FAKE OR REAL WE DONâT KNOW), I WOULD ALWAYS RESPECT GOOSEWORXâS DEDICATION AND HARDWORK IN EPISODE 9. IF THESE SPOILERS ARE TRUE, THEN I WILL RESPECT HER VIEW BECAUSE THE MAJOR THING HERE IS THAT TADC IS HER SHOW AND WE CANNOT HATE ON HER TO SAY HER OWN STORY. IT MAY NOT GO ACCORDING TO MY THEORIES BUT I WILL ALWAYS LOVE THIS SHOW AND WHATEVER THE ENDING IS REGARDLESS. AT THE END I AM JUST A THEORIST AND A CRITIC HERE TO RESPECT AND LOVE TADC.

Edit: I am fucking crashing out rn TADC is my whole teenagehood and Istg Iâm going to harass and torture those leakers. Literally.
It will be about the characters living their stagnant life in the circus for a while, getting used to it. Eventually when time comes, they will find the exit and get out of the circus to live their stagnant lives in the real world, but at the cost of a key characterâs life which I believe will be POMNI.
Jax will see her die and he will have to watch his mask slip off when he tries to use all his coping mechanisms. Kinger-Jax talk.
Jaxâs flashback with Ribbit will show that they were either best friends with sibling dynamic or literal. biological. siblings.
so conclusion:
they will learn to live their stagnant lives, they will eventually escape, Pomni will die sacrificing her life for the others (and possibly the abstracted); it cannot be stopped, Jax will drop his archetype and cry his heart out, Jax and Ribbitâs relation will be discovered, along with his past.
I want FunnyBunny Shippers to Draw Jax with a random Fanchild of his and Pomni's and show the kid to Ribbit and Jax goes: "This is your Niece/Nephew" while Ribbit's all: "Wait whut-"
