I remember being so upset when I read somewhere that Jason Grace had died in the burning maze. I just bought the book at that time and I haven’t read anything yet then I got spoiled about it. I ended up not reading the books after that. 

I don’t understand before as to why it has to be Jason Grace. I admit he wasn’t my most favorite character but still I love that guy. After finishing ToN, I kind of thought everything through and I kind of understand now.

Apollo, although he is slowly changing, has to experience a big lost. He has to understand how it feels to lose someone. He has to understand that kind of pain. And it has to be someone important. Someone he considers a friend. He has to understand sacrifices and the choices he makes has big impact on everyone.

And he did. He understood that.

Jason’s death was the huge turning point for Apollo’s development. After his death, he started to realize things. Understand what it is to be a mortal. To be a demigod, a hero. He started to empathize with others. He started to become a selfless person.

As much as I don’t like it that Jason died, it has to be him. He was not just Apollo’s friend, he was also his brother.

So the real question here is how did Apollo ended up waking in Mount Olympus? He was in tartarus and was slowly disappearing. He was a mortal at the time and he said that it is beyond their power (gods power) to reach where he is at that point. Who the fuck helped him get there? Was it styx?

I was finally accepting Jason’s fate but then the ToN is just full of “the fall of Jason Grace”, “Jason’s death, “the death of Jason Grace”. Uncle Rick is really rubbing on our faces that he is dead. Like D E A D.

I just realized that Nico di Angelo was in the Battle of Manhattan, he was also there fighting Gaia and now he was also present in the final battle of the emperors. And then whaaaat? He has now a whole prophecy that we don’t know about. Like seriously can you give this little guy a break?

Has anyone noticed this? When I first watched the last airbender I was too enraptured with what was happening in the season 1 finale that I didn’t see anything strange happening.

Yue’s eyes are the only color on the frame when Zhao killed the moon spirit. Is this a mistake or on purpose? Are her eyes glowing like the moon because some of the moon spirit’s life was given to her?

I was rewatching book one episode 15 and saw this. 

Zuko was holding Katara???

Zuko might have been the biggest “jerk” in Book 1 but then at least he cares enough to make sure that Katara wouldn’t fall off Nyla when June turned suddenly. Can’t say the same for Sokka though.

I was so confused at the start because Calcifer keeps on saying that Sophie can help break the curse but then of course he knows something that Sophie is to find out yet later in the movie. And Sophie saying “find me in the future” and Howl’s first words to her were, “Sorry, I’m late. I was looking for you everywhere”, it hits differently.
