Dirk and a!Dave sleeping in the same bed together. It's not too clingy at first; Dirk and a!Dave keep a respectable distance of a couple inches between them. At some point in the middle of the night, Dirk hears a!Dave say a groggy "c'mere", before pulling Dirk into being a little spoon. Dirk freezes at first; he isn't even sure if a!Dave is awake or just clinging onto him in the middle of some dream. But a!Dave's arms are warm and his hands are holding onto Dirk's forearms and his face is right in Dirk's hair and Dirk is being held like he's tiny even though he's taller and heavier than a!Dave. Dirk wants to stay awake to cherish every second of the contact, but he ends up dozing off from how comfortable he is.
