what's your relationship with reference images? also where do you get them (゜-゜)

I think using reference images are good and amazing and I love them. If you're starting out I do reccomand tracing, just don't post it or show it to people claiming you drew it all by hand. K? I hope this answered your question. If it didn't I am truly sorry 😔

I usually search up a image from either Pinterest or stock images. I usually search along the lines of "dramtic lighting" or just "photography".

Then I alter them a bit when I draw them. Not much, but when I do sketches and line art, I give them a touch of ✨personality✨. I do draw the things tho, I don't just draw over them with like 4 brush strokes and post it btw.
