Zechariah 8:1-23 KJV The salvation of GOD is the most corrupted subject matter within Christianity. If this subject is so corrupted within the church, then it is not necessary to consider the confused state of the world. "And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" 1 Peter 4:18 KJV The salvation of GOD has been, and remains the single issue that Satan has tirelessly and relentlessly sought to destroy from the face of the earth. There are not many issues being corrupted, for there remains but only one issue. All was lost at the fall of Adam; but GOD, who is ONE, provided us with ONE hope. If there were any other hope, GOD would have told us. "...O my Father if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt." Matthew 26:39 KJV If what be possible? "...Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit" John 12:24 KJV If what be possible? "...without shedding of blood is no remission." Hebrews 9:22 KJV The ONE hope that we have received, which is the only hope that exist, is CHRIST. There is no other hope. This subject has been the issue of controversy since the beginning, after the fall of man. Today, this issue is most corrupted and the church refuses to study the Holy Scriptures for answers. Bible studies have become Bible discussions, where the wisdom of men are lifted up. Today, men are continually reading between the lines of the clear declarations of GOD; allowing their perverted hearts to lead them astray. CHRIST has declared, "It is written..." While men are declaring, "It can be deduced..." The Salvation of CHRIST is written: "Thus saith the LORD host; I was jealous for Zion with great Jealousy, and I was jealous for her with great fury. Thus saith the LORD; I am return unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain is the LORD of hosts the holy mountain" Zechariah 8:2-3 KJV "For thus saith the LORD of host; As I thought to punish you, when your fathers provoked me to wrath, saith the LORD of host, and I repented not: So again have I thought in these days to do well unto Jerusalem and to the house of Judah: fear ye not. " Zechariah 8:14-15 KJV For GOD so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. John 3:16 KJV "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God : not of works, lest any man should boast" Ephesians 2:8-9 KJV The Salvation of CHRIST is written in the Life of the Believer: "These are the things that he shall do; speak ye every man the truth to his neighbour; execute the judgment of truth and peace in your gates: and let none of you imagine evil in your hearts against his neighbour; and love no false oath: for all these are things that I hath, saith the LORD." Zechariah 8:16 KJV "But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in GOD." John 3:21 KJV "For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 KJV " According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." Ephesians 1:4 KJV The Salvation of CHRIST is not written in the Life of the Unbeliever: The Salvation of GOD is a free gift to all, yet all will not receive this most precious gift. Why? Because we are preoccupied with our own works, whether religious works or otherwise , which have made the WORD of GOD ineffective in our lives (Let us not remain in this condition). Yet the WORD of GOD will not return to HIM void (should we remain in this condition); therefore, GOD's judgment against those who have refused HIS Great Salvation will only declare that all HIS work is executed in righteousness. "Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil I thy sight: that thou mightiest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest." Psalm 51:4 KJV & Romans 3:3-4 KJV "...but he that believeth not is condemn already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deed were evil." John 3:18-19 KJV Many will cherish their sins above the clear revelation of the salvation of CHRIST. Why? Because they love darkness. May we all pray that we ourselves be not found in this great multitude. Do you love darkness? Do you hate the light? It is for this very reason that a great multitude declares the righteousness of CHRIST, yet without any evidence of HIS righteousness in them. "But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20 KJV "...Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his." Romans 8:9 KJV "Whosoever committeth sin trangresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law...in this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother." 1 John 3:4-10 KJV To reason away plain scriptures is not wise. Diluted medicine will not heal us. The truth is never about comfort. Medicine is not formulated to satisfy our taste buds. The truth requires sacrifice. It is for this reason CHRIST died and is risen, to give us HIS life. CHRIST life doesn't consist of mere breathing. CHRIST life has provided us with the required strength to obey every word of GOD. Why is this simple precious truth seemingly so convoluted? Because of the tireless and relentless work of Satan to keep man in darkness by obscuring the truth. "But if our gospel be hid, it is his to them that are lost: in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them that believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of GOD, should shine unto them." 2 Corinthians 4:3-4 KJV Amen.
