Still cleaning out closets and boxes. Found this lovely key animation sequence of Azula from the Avatar series finale. I think this is by Jung Hye Young, or maybe Myoung Ga YoungâŠ? Iâm pretty sure Lauren Montgomery storyboarded this acting. Incredible expressions and movement on the hair.
Thinking your way outta a plot hole like
amazing
sorry if you have already been asked this. In your Opinion, how does Gale differ from Bellamy? And how does Madge differ from Clarke? just Curious on your thoughts!
This is an EXCELLENT question nonny, and while Iâve circled this a few times I donât know if Iâve tackled it explicitly.
Gale vs. Bellamy:  I think the easiest way to answer this is that Bellamy is Gale if Gale was given the chance to learn from his mistakes at the end of Mockingjay.  Early-to-mid season one Bellamy is the most Gale-like, with his rousing speeches against the Establishment, hard edges, and rough justice.  He doesnât necessarily want to hurt people, but he will if it means keeping those he cares about safe (which is very similar to âItâs no different than hunting people.â)
However, the major difference is we see Bellamy after his big mistakeâin this case the Culling, and I would say heâs roughly equally responsible for the Culling as Gale is for the Bomb.  Neither was directly responsible for pulling the trigger, but both took a direct action (destroying the radio/designing the bomb) that lead to the foreseeable deaths of hundreds.  All we see of Gale after the Bomb is through Katnissâs shell-shocked, grieving eyes, so we donât know how remorseful he is.  I like to think he is genuinely remorsefulâ Gale loved Prim, after allâ but we donât see his redemption arc.  With Bellamy, we see him learn from his mistakes and move past them to become more than just a soldier with rage issues.  (I think itâs also worth noting that Katniss has some very Bellamy-like tendencies at the start of THG, but her crucibleâ the Gamesâ happens much, much earlier than Galeâs.  Hence the draw of Gadge, with Madge in the Peeta role.)
Madge vs. Clarke:  These two ladiesâ although both are excellentâ are fairly different, imo.  They are both smart and a little ruthless (Youâd better believe Madge wouldnât have gone down without a fight if she was Reaped), but I see Madge as both a little more fun than Clarke âWatch Me Declare How Fun I Am In The Most Awkward Way Possibleâ Griffin, as well as less of a leader than Clarke. I see Madge as more of a spy (she stole newspapers for Katniss on the rebellion) than a figurehead.  However, they do both come from privilege and seem acutely aware of both the benefits of their station as well as the consequences. Â
Itâs a little harder to draw out the differences between these two because we get so little of Madge in canon, so a lot of her personality (including my aforementioned âMadge is more fun at a partyâ theory) is drawn from fanon, but for the record: Madge would be a huge Clarke Griffin fangirl, while Clarke would turn to Madge for hugs when she needs them.
I like this. It makes me happy.Â
what do they know of the choking blackness of the void that swallows you whole? what do they know of isolation, desperation, loneliness? they know nothing. nothing at all

Well ok Kesha, maybe itâs because youâre an auto tuned peice of shit who shouldnât be famous, you have no Buisness being in the music industry, itâs not even your music you fuck, someone else wrote it for you to record and them to auto tune yourself. And itâs not at all good . Itâs not positive either. So complain some more.
I donât know if you know this, tumblr user koolkidseatgreens, but Ke$ha is a certified genius. She has an IQ over 140 and an SAT score of 1500. When she was younger she would go to the library and do research for fun. Ke$ha is a both feminist and an advocate for equal marriage/rights for people of any sexuality, being a queer woman herself.
Ke$ha is a smart, professional woman, and just because she sings songs about wanting to let loose and have fun every once in a while doesnât make her a piece of shit.
Ke$haâs songs are meant to point out the sexism in our media. She treats men the same way many men in the music industry treat women, and she is hated on for it. Relentlessly. She sings on multiple occasions about taking charge in a sexual relationship, of how she only uses men for their body parts. She sexualizes men to make them uncomfortable. She sexualizes men for a reaction, so that people can both see why women are so uncomfortable with their sexualization and also to point out the inequality between the sexes both in the media and in the world at large.
She is judged so harshly for singing about things that make many men famous.
If you listen to Ke$haâs deconstructed album you will see that she actually has some talent, which may be hard to hear because she does in fact use a fair amount of autotune. This is because of her genre and because of the kind of music she chooses to create as an artist. Ke$ha may not write her songs, but this doesnât meant she isnât a good artist or a good person. This doesnât mean she deserves your harsh words. Some singers are good at writing, but thatâs hardly a requirement. Last time I checked whether or not you can sing has nothing to do with whether or not youâre a poet.
You should not be calling anyone a piece of shit, my friend, especially someone youâve never sat down and had a conversation (or even taken the time to wonder about her feelings!), but if anyone deserves that kind of language itâs not Ke$ha.
You may think that by shaming women for expressing their sexuality and having fun every once in a while, that you are somehow abolishing sexism. That in weeding out the less âdeservingâ women you are gaining our sex more respect. This is not the case, and the fact that you and many others feel such a strong need to shame this woman who has done nothing wrong, especially not to you, shows that we still have a very far away to go.
Um Iâm just going to add, Ke$ha actually does write her own songs. For example, hereâs her first albumâs tracklist:
She has also ritten for other artists, probably most famously ââTill The World Endsâ by Britney Spears, which is part of why sheâs on the remix of it. She wrote for years and was even the female voice on Flo Ridaâs âRight Roundâ but refused to be credited because she didnât want her first single to not be her own work. She spent years, starting at the age of 15, writing music before she came out with her album because she wanted to make sure it was all her own and all what she wanted to do.
You can even get all her unreleased music which, combined with her actual albums, is 10.3 hours according to my iTunes playlist. Some artists have been around for twice as long as her and havenât written that many songs.Â
Not only have critics proclaimed she could be a country star if she ever leaves the pop music business (which is showcased on her unreleased track âGoodbyeâ), but sheâs actually the daughter of a very talented country songwriter. Her music is actually fairly well praised by the music critics community and if you listened to any of her songs that her record wonât let her release as singlesââLast Goodbyeâ, âThe Harold Songâ, âOnly Wanna Dance With Youâ, any of her balladsâshe can write multiple styles of songs. Sheâs just stuck in a box of what she can release and then shallow minded people call her dumb for having fun.
Thatâs a big fuck you for hating Ke$ha.
