Even when you can't get your steps steady on your path to Allah, limp your way to Him. Show Him a broken heart. Show Him limbs that grew familiar with prostration and know you're dealing a God that is all-seeing all-knowing, a God that is never bothered by your insistence, never indifferent to your suffering. A God that will never let you return empty handed.

There’s nothing in this world that can cure your heart as much as prayer can. Stop trying to heal through people. I’m telling you, it will not work and even if it does, it’s just temporary healing. If a person’s word can temporarily heal you, imagine what Allah’s words can do to you. Prayer is medicine for the broken soul and it’s the only way you will fully heal.
