I will never get over that El & Will went through so much, only to have the show fail them in the end. They deserved so much more than just sacrificing themselves and their dreams for others. The wonder twins deserve a happy ending.

Adding my take to the [Will Byers was never found au]

Will hides his face with his growing hair to blend in with the other faceless residents of the upside down. (ie. Mainly me creating an excuse to keep his hair as bowl-cutty as possible (cause you can’t take away my emotional support Byers haircut))

Also he’s carved the names of people important to him on his gun (object vital for his survival) so he won’t forget them.

Big red/yellow jacket he found to stay warm is reminiscent of his vest. Demos are either blind or colorblind so wearing bright colors isn’t really an issue.

I definitely got into the “Will is never found au” because of my friend, my desire to give Will more trauma, & also the art/comics by @deorlings (if you haven’t seen their stuff check it out right now)

a “Will never found au” stuck surviving in the upsidedown for years. Because nothing in the upsidedown has a face, everything is instinctually hostile to things with faces. (Maybe originating from association to Henry being a menace to the local population) So a part of how Will survives is using his growing hair to hide his face.

I haven’t had any time to work on art or even read fanfics.. so with the first free time I’ve had in a while, I decided to have fun with a Will the Wise sketch I had!

This cleric? sorcerer? outfit slays and is so fun to draw, and you can’t tell me Mike would not be head over heels for Will when he first saw him wearing this fit.

Someday I will draw all of the party in their DnD outfits. I’m really surprised I haven’t made any wonder twins content yet, but it will happen.

This is not exactly a specific scene from he chased me, and he wouldn’t stop by @michaelswilliam it is more inspired by multiple river side moments and the focus art has in the fic. Had to sneak in Dr. Pepper the rabbit, and added a deer cause I’m a sucker for deer symbolism associated to Will (and it was sorta empty before..)

I was going for “maybe Will created this with smudged charcoal & pencil in his sketchbook, while Henry gave him a few pointers” (saves me from having to color this beast, I just don’t have that skill or energy or time) even though I think Will would rather use color pencils

My favorite part is where the water meets the rocky shore, and the two minnows there

A gothic [genre] take on the summer after season 4, focused on Will and explores the dark consequences of birthdaygate. The author has an amazing talent for wordsmithing, and I do have another fanart in the works (cause dam am I immersed). This is from a scene in Ch.7, and for reasons, Will has to put on one of Nancy’s old skirts, a wig, and makeup. and now I may be drawing more fem Wills in the future

This is for the concept that Danny is trying to find his way from the surface down into the underworld (the opposite of Zagreus) for a some reasons.

He can be discovered amongst other shades in the house, chambers, or the colosseum, as he is trying (and failing) to disguise himself as a usual shade. Which if discovered, he will gift or assist Zag.

But the relevant bit is that Hades doesn’t want Danny anywhere in the underworld, probably for many reasons, and will have him “escorted out” by Than, or Charon, or even Zag in the late game. Danny knows this, but shows up anyways. So this is just a moment of Danny getting caught by Hades, and then shooed away.

This started off more doodle and evolved a bit.. definitely was inspired by mits-mits’ drawing of “WTF is that weird ass shade” which I love and cherish and can’t stop laughing at. Many thanks to them

"You can't just hurl Danny at every fandom you find interes-" Fucking watch me

Twin is taking ass and kicking names in Hades. Their suffering fuels me, so have a 'inaccurate greek lore' -afied Phantom. Both concept and design is heavily based off of @isosceles-is-never-here and @mits-mits 's posts (I forgor pants). Just throwing my own two cents in.

SO, in THIS plagiarized version:

Phantasmos is a hero who somehow manages to shimmy on down to the Underworld every other week or so. He doesn't have any important reason for going down there, he just lacks self preservation.

(Originally I was just gonna switch the name 'Phantom' out with the heavily translated sorta-greek version, but ''Phantasma' would function as a girls name so I had to tack on an S back there. And 'Phantasmas' makes me think of Santa Claus for some reason, so I changed it again.)

He did defeat Pariah Dark, gaining the Gods favor, but it didn't make him royalty since Pariah wasn't a king either. He was just some guy hellbent on usurping Hades for whatever reason.

And I guess he got all the way down to Tartarus at some point. Or I can just borrow a Phandom headcanon and say Clockwork is a fragment of Chronos. Gaping plotholes aside, Danny is now the adopted son of Chronos (and also the favorite despite only calling him peepaw) for comedic purposes. He is the little brother Hades never wanted.

In both games the players first interaction with him can be triggered in two ways. Either you find him or he finds you. And from then on out it's basically a game of 'Where's Waldo?'. Keep an eye out for a suspicious looking shade and he'll either gift you something useful or offer to assist you in your next battle. He can also sometimes be seen cheering you on at the Elysium stadium in the first game and is just as supportive in the second (he's just peeved he lost his favorite child privileges).

(The Twin Hivemind is not to be underestimated, i'm in another goddamn fandom again. How in the heck am I supposed to hyperfixate on 12 fandoms at the same time!???)

WTF I know I'm never here, but clearly I need to be here cause I've been missing important things.

This art is amazing, loving the posing (I fought with a few different poses for my original concepts) I think my favorite part of discovering these has been the gameplay concepts. Exploring how to insert outside characters into a setting in a way that is both seamless and innovating has always been fascinating to me.

So I've recently come across this really cool post by @isosceles-is-never-here and GOT ABSALUTLY HOOKED ON THE IDEA.

I think that in my version, Danny is a hero, which travels down to the underworld to visit the shade of an old friend (Haven't decided who yet). The only reason he is able to get inside the underworld in the first place is because of his half ghost and shade king status. Unfortunately, Hades does not appreciate him being in the underworld, so he has to fight his way down.

At first he uses his ghost form to try and sneak around but gets recognized very fast.

Every time he gets all the way down, he has only a few hours before he gets sent back to the surface.

Zagreus can encounter him when he stops to rest, in a room packed full of shades. He gives Zag the option to trade some boons with him, and as the relationship gets more hearts, he eventually appears in the lounge from time to time to hang out before he is returned back to the surface.

Zagreus escape attempts are useful to him since they distract Hades from his own break-in attempts, so if they find themselves in the same battle room, Danny will do his best to help him:)

[I tried to channel artist Will by only using the HB pencil brush to mimic colored pencils. Coloring is my least favorite part of drawing but I pushed thru for the vibes]

The Sorcerer by QuothRaven was the only thing holding me together after vol.1 Stranger Things. And I’m so happy they’re still updating after vol.2 came out. I haven’t done any Stranger Things fan art yet (or any art at all recently..), and this fic is what finally inspired me.

The tags “Will Byers Has Powers” & “Will Byers Can’t Catch a Break” & “Mike Queeler” is honestly the best description for this fic.
