In all of my fourteen years as a diabetic, I have never once seen myself represented in advertising. I’ve never seen those with crutches, colostomies, or wheelchairs, either, despite how many people live with those conditions.

I got so excited seeing this advertising campaign! Inclusive media is a huge step forward!!

Aerie has some of the most inclusive advertising and modeling photos I’ve seen, and not to sound like a filthy capitalist consumer, but I would rather shop somewhere that showcases average women without airbrushing them to death (you can see their stretch marks and scars!) and caters to women my size
