Hey idk who needs this but helpful reminder that "virgin blood" in any witchcraft shit that requires that means "virgin" in the same sense as "virgin hair" means hair that hasn't been dyed or processed in any way, natural in the default sense. So no, "virgin blood" doesn't mean blood from a virgin, just blood that hasn't been used for any other kind of witchy shit earlier.
Whether nor not someone has fucked before is completely irrelevant. Any act of fucking doesn't instantly make someone contaminated or un-magic any of their shit. You're just not supposed to re-use blood for blood magic. That's just not. Just do not. Like that's just weird who does that.

By the way. If you even care. In the original novel that inspired the Hitchcock film Psycho, Norman Bates is fat and significantly worse as a person. I feel you people on the tumblr would love him. He’s the most eligible bachelor. He’s the it girl he’s the moment and there’s no fanart of him.
I just finished reading Psycho by Robert Bloch so I have to talk about it. But first I must say that I watched the Alfred Hitchcock movie first and I love that movie (but it’s been a minute since I’ve seen it). So, obviously, I was looking out for the differences between the two.
-Norman Bates in the book is fat. It wasn’t an off handed remark either, there was a whole scene explaining how much Norman hates his body.
I love Anthony Perkins as Norman Bates. He acted so well and I think he’s gorgeous, but I do wish we got a version with fat Norman Bates
-Mary and Sam were in a long distance relationship. The very first scene in the movie is of the two right after they had sex so this kind of shocked me.
-Ed Gein was mentioned. I knew that Psycho was inspired by Gein but I didn’t expect for him to be mentioned by name.
-Norman Bates is kind of a silly guy. The thought of him hiding under his sheets when someone was knocking at his door makes me feel bad for him.
I really hate that I feel so bad for this guy. Like I want to give him a hug and tuck him into bed. A grown ass dude.
-The scene where Sam was alone with Norman was easily one of my favorite parts of the book. The imagery of the two drinking alone in the dark, Sam’s realization that Norman is a killer, and Norman being fully aware of the harm that he’s able to cause. It’s just so good.
-Being a trans person I have conflicting feelings about this book. I love it a lot. It might be one of my favorite books of all time now. However, I cannot ignore the transphobia/transphobic elements within the story.
I don’t think Robert Bloch set out to make a transphobic story about how all trans people are deviants and killers. I think this story was written a long time ago and things were different back then. I could talk about this more but I want to keep this more light hearted.
-I love how we get to see multiple characters’ perspectives of the same events. It’s so fun to read.
-I had to google a lot of old stuff
-Norman Bates you are one of my favorite characters of all time. I wish there was more fanart of book accurate Norman (I have to do everything my self)
