TB1999 Promo, Part I
This, to me, is the most painful image associated with Hokuto’s death. Seishiro is there before you fold out the picture, and you might think that it’s meant to be his coat left behind, symbolizing him dropping the illusion and disappearing from Subaru’s world, but it isn’t.
It’s where Hokuto is supposed to be, rounding out their holy trinity. That’s the pattern from each of the earlier volumes. You can tell it’s not *quite* the same coat as Seishiro is wearing because it’s missing the belt. This is where Hokuto fits, where she *belongs*, but she is just gone. Her absence is so profound, so conspicuous, that even her clothes are still there, marking her place. It cannot be overstated how HUGE the impact of losing her is on Subaru. It’s not as visceral an image as Seishiro actually killing her, but it represents what it means, in a grander sense, beyond the shock of the act itself. It’s this gaping hole in his life, an empty place where someone is supposed to be, but never will be again.
When your alternate self is a vampire living in a post-apocalyptic world and being hunted by your loved one. And he still seems happier than you.

✿ CLAMP - PART 1
Rare teaser comics by Clamp for the first tokyo Babylon OVA. The art of the OVA wasn’t very good, it’s so nice to see Clamp’s version of it!
Newtype (09/1993) - Tokyo Babylon 1999 (live-action movie adaptation) - illustrations by Mokona Apapa (CLAMP).
The Volks 1/100 Jagd Mirage Twin Tower, considered by many to be the greatest Five Star Stories model kit ever made, if not the greatest mecha model kit ever made. This bad boy ran for $2000 back when it was released in 1999 and stood 50cm tall to the top of the head and had cannons that measured over 2 meters. The scariest part about this monster is that building it is even more challenging than finding an original copy of it nowadays.
I’m really in love with the new She-ra designs and I can’t wait to watch this show!!

We’re two trans women who are still struggling with rent, bills, and buying food. I’m physically disabled and I’m still fighting for my entitlements, so for now we rely on other people’s help to get by. We need £1400 in total, which covers rent, electricity, gas for hot water and cooking, and food and household supplies.
