This is very important.Ā
Right now, men just need to shut up, read these and learn. We HAVE to do better.

yeah... not to rant but I've noticed almost EVERY older male I talk to on the phone for work has to refer to me with some sort of pet name (i.e. sweetie, honey, sweet thing, even baby). It's like they'll feel emasculated to not treat young women in a professional setting with the same respect as someone of their own gender/age group.

Because we donāt speak about sex, there is no socially acceptable language surrounding it. So the language of p*** has jumped in to fill that space, and thatās an issue, because in a male-dominated industry the language of p*** is all too often male-generated. The person who coined the term āfinger blastingā didnāt have a vagina. The person who coined the term, āgetting your ass railedā never got their ass railed. Pounding, hammering, banging⦠And language matters, because when the only language you have available is abusive and one-directional, in terms of having things done to you, it creates a very weird view of how sex works.

I have no words for this...
I donāt need feminism because feminists who rant about how women are slaves from beauty standards, donāt even realize theyāre COMMERCIAL standards. āMenā or āpatriarchyā didnt make them : MONEY made them. Men donāt need women to feel bad about themselves, COMPANIES need women to feel bad in order to buy their products. Their lack of understanding that rich people oppress the poor regardless of their race & gender is one of the reason I canāt support their vapid cause.

Delilah Dee :) feeling wonderful
A lot of people have been questioning me about my love life and why I'm single. In all it's because I know men were bred to be kings but some would rather worry about the amount of attention they receive rather than the legacy they want to build. Not many people my age can say they are ready for ground breaking love, but I am. I've had my fun, but now I'm ready for my king. I'm ready to give myself to a man in a way I have never done before. I refuse to be treated as anythingĀ less than the Queen that I am. It's that simple. They need to understand that I am building my empire, working on my legacy and I expect them to be doing the same. We will both be each other's support system and continue to push each other to exceed all expectations. He will be my lover, my best friend, my business partner, my advisor, my king. We will be that power couple. Not saying I'm looking but when the time comes and the universe brings us together, I'm ready. Ready to make history and take over - T O G E T H E RĀ

Why do women of all shapes and sizes need to feel like they must take "sexy" pictures with such little clothes and post it on tumblr? Are you bored or going for an alternate reality? I can't tell

So many dimensions involved in this photo - religion, race, ethnic, gender and political ties. I love it.Ā
NYFW ACADEMY OF ART SPRING 2014 It was so shocking and refreshing to see a model of a different variety, both in race and body structure. I wonder how the first row reacted?
This article is incredible. Do read and do share.
I need feminism because my friend thought I must have gone through something traumatic in my life to become so impassioned and angry about gender roles and sexism. Recognition and distain of injustice or abuse do not necessarily stem from one significant experience.Ā For me, they came from looking around and noticing, comparing, and realizing.
I need feminism because Iām tired of hearing āIf you were a BOY, itād be DIFFERENT."
I refuse to let societyās double-standards affect my decisions.
I refuse to be judged differently than a man.
If youāre the type to judge me because my decisions arenāt your definition of āfeminineā or...
