Molding and casting the only Lambeosaurus skull found in the U.S.

This is the skull of our Lambeosaurus lambei, Liberty. Here's the process of producing resin casts to gift to local establishments in the towns near where we do fieldwork.

Gaps in the bone were filled with Carbowax so rubber wouldn't snag. Underhangs were smoothed out with clay.

Rubber was poured layer by layer. After that a mother mold (a fiberglass cast over the top layer of rubber) was constructed.
