Hudson didn’t have to do this. No one forced him to post about Connor. He chose to post and he chose those two photos.
Yes, a man who has made numerous queer films, is probably gay himself very comfortable with queer culture, and clearly knowledge about fan spaces, knows what the photo looks like. The argument of Connor just drinking water is fine, but it doesn’t explain anything about why Hudson would post it. The photo looks sexual, it’s implying something and Hudson knows it.
Hudson and Connor are not oblivious, they know what they are implying when they comment or post certain things. It’s up to us how we want to interpret them.

They did the chemistry read/Zoom meeting and immediately knew something big has happened. I think C fell first and right away but tried to hide it to not scare H. Then they met in person, agreed on their rules/boundaries and H felt so safe with C from the spot that they agreed they can touch each other everywhere. This led to the physical attraction/lust. And eventually, when they were alone, C asked H carefully if he wants to go further than in front of the cameras and he did.
For H it was brand-new to feel this much for a *man* and for C it was brand-new to feel this *much* for a man and they are both head over heels in love with each other, knowing this is a once-in-a-lifetime thing.

There are so many reasons why I believe that Connor and Hudson are a couple.
But one of my favorite things are these little moments/ touches between them.
Because they just seem so natural, so intimate and almost subconsciously/ intuitively. Like they both do not even realize it,because they are simply used to it by now 🤭.
And so they just cannot help it.
This here for example:
The way Connor caresses Hudsons knee🫠. You just know he does that all the time and so he simply forgets they are on camera 🤭

We often look for big moments or loud declarations of love, and we get both from them as well, but for me these little moments are so telling- and just so lovely ♥️.
Either out of habit, sudden impulse, or not on purpose, a hidden, stolen little touch when you think nobody will notice means so much more than big display on camera.
A while back I made this post which was a photo of Hudson with Connor and his mom at the Montreal premiere. Today I came across a TikTok with a bts clip of the three of them taking photos at the Montreal premiere so of course I had to make screens.
"Forever" Hudson said, as if he confessed what he had probably felt from the very first moment he felt "My soul recognized yours, as if you had always been a part of me. You were always there, without me knowing. But now that we've found each other again, it will be forever."
More or less, what Connor had always described "i've had connections in my life, where I'm like you are a part of me cosmically.", "you know those people that you just instantly click with and you're like, okay 'you're mine' "
This is Hudson saying in his own terms, we are soulmates.
And that feels so powerful. When they had known each other only for a few months, at the time not even being sure there would be a second season so that they'd get the chance to be together again on a set for this long. But this was more than just about the professional or artistic side, this was on a deeply personal level, he knew that this beautiful person would always be part of his life.
The fact that, even after they'd wrapped, they were almost instantly back together. Connor coming back to Vancouver, just to be with his person again. And one of the crazy thing was also, the two quickly deciding that they'd get a matching tattoo together, as if that was truly the most natural thing in the world. When, and I think Connor had admitted himself, it had been a while for him personally since the last one he did. But there was something too obvious with Hudson "we clicked..". They are a part of each other, they needed to somehow etch that on their skin too. Something related to the show, but truly, it was most about the connection, about them.
Little side note: it felt maybe even more symbolic from Connor, as most of his tattoos seem to have an emotional attachment, as some are directly connected to the most important people in his life : his mother, his sister, his best friend Bailey, and now his Huddy too. The people that will always be a part of his life, a part of him. People he had known for years, or his whole life. And Huddy, he had only met and yet... he was maybe the piece that had been missing all along. The fact that, even more so, Connor chose to add a heart over the "sex sells" feels even more meaningful. Like, "this person is a part of my heart, and always will be." May the whole world know about it.
The way then, they just kept being with each other one way or another, whether personal visits to each other, or for the promo of the show. And when they were not physically together, they would anyway constantly facetime with each other, always staying in touch. Cause that's what they had genuinely found too in each other : a confident, a support, even might say sort of a lifeline.
How beautifully symbolic, for the past year, every big event, every milestone in their career, they were always by each other's side. One example among many was Connor's first ever Saturday Night Live, which was something massive truly. He was the host, it would be one of those "rising star" moment where he'd be there to reveal himself and shine to the whole world, on live tv. Of course, for Hudson, it wasn't even a choice. Even though he was busy himself on a set, this did not matter, he would be there for his person. He had to be there for Connor. That's where he belonged, by his side, always. Where his heart was calling him back to.
From on-screen partners, they naturally weaved into each other's life, like real partners would with each other. And that's the thing that's maybe the most beautiful about that, while they felt it right away, it's over time, that they're claiming their rightful place to the world: side by side. Together. Forever.
One of the most recent example of that 'claim', is Hudson correcting someone who called Connor his "bestie", and he insisted on that one word instead: their "relationship". He is more than just a best friend, he is his person. In this life, in the previous and the next. He has forever been a part of him. And that's where he'll stand.

The way Hudson gets so worked up hearing Connor speak Russian and the way Connor is so proud and happy that he got Hudson worked up… they are so down bad for each other. I had to make screens of this part of the video (below) because it’s just too good!
