Based on Aizawa being colorblind, I threw a few images of his… questionable fashion choices into a simulator, and I think the most likely type of colorblindness for him is Tritanopia (Blue-Yellow CB). If he did, then the outfit he picked out for Eri actually might’ve looked pretty cute to him, and even his goggles would look near flesh tone and not too far off from his scarf to him.

Which leads me to my secondary theory; Aizawa is colorblind, however, neither he nor anyone else knows that he is colorblind. He’s just so weird as a person that nobody thinks his fashion choices are related to his vision at all, and any time he does make a weird choice regarding colors, everyone just accepts it as Aizawa being Aizawa.
