A serious question for the TMNT fandom.
I just got shamed by someone that isn’t apart of the TMNT fandom because of my age and the turtles age. The boys are all 17 in the 2016 movie ‘out of the Shadows’, and I have had a crush on them/ been attracted to them for years, and now that I’m 21 and I still have a crush on them, and I’m still attracted and still in the fandom, I’m being shamed because they’re 17 and I’m 21, and being called ‘wrong’ and some other inappropriate words, for having a crush on them and sometimes writing ‘lemon’ content for them and content about dating them. They also said everyone in the TMNT fandom is probably below 18 and I’m the only one who’s probably an adult, and that it’s wrong for me to be attracted to a 17 year old. It made me feel like trash. So I need to ask, is there anyone else here in the fandom, that’s 18+ that has a crush on the ninja turtles, is attracted to them, and reads/ or writes fics about dating them and doing ‘naughty’ things with them? I hate to have to write and ask this, but it got to me a little. I love this fandom with all my heart and it’s (in my opinion) one of the most none toxic fandoms I’ve been in. I just hope I’m not being seen as ‘wrong’ for liking the turtles.
Okay, honey, first thing, I’m well over 40 and I find the TMNT boys attractive. And I know of at least five other prolific TMNT RPers who are over 30.
Point two: The boys can be any age you want in your fics, they don’t have to be teens. You grew up, why shouldn’t they?
Point three: Anyone who shames you for your crushes is an asshat and and why the heck would you value their opinion? DO NOT let anyone shame you for liking what you like, or feeling what you feel. EVER.
Point four: The boys, sadly, are fictional characters. They cannot be harmed by anyone’s writings.
Point five: Writing about something is not the same as condoning it: otherwise we’d have to lock up all of the mystery and horror writers: Stephen King, Anne Rice, etc…
The TMNT boys have been blessed with creators and writers who have developed them into well-rounded, three dimensional characters, with a great many admirable traits, and being attracted to them is completely understandable. I commend you for your exceptionally good taste! Please don’t let some judgemental twit spoil your enjoyment of the TMNT fandom, or stop you from continuing to write your fics.

‘Heartbeat’ - Part 1 (LEMON)
- this is kinda a weird one, but I’ve been thinking about writing this for a while now. It’s probably gonna suck and be a little boring because I haven’t wrote in a while and I need to get back into it. I’m sorryyyy. :c
Warnings: LEMON
You get a smart watch as a gift that reads your heart rate and alerts Leo when you’re scared or in danger, but he forgot your heart rate increases due to more reasons than just fear.
Your birthday was a few weeks ago, and Donnie text you saying the birthday present he took so long making for you was ready, and that Leo would bring it over while he fixes the garbage truck Raph damaged while he was angry. You called Donnie and thanked him, he couldn’t wait for you to know what it was. You saw Leo’s figure through your window, so you let him in.
“Hey princess, I missed you” he said with a huge smile stretched across his face. He picked you up and gave you a huge hug, and kissed you deeply. “I missed you too” you said inside the tight hug.
“So, Donnie finally finished that gift for you, I’ve seen it and it’s awesome”, Leo flushed about this gift, so it must be good. He opens the box, and inside is a watch, similar to the one April got for her birthday, but it was blue, and had a small blue ribbon wrapped around it to symbolise Leo. It was amazing, but that wasn’t all:
“It’s a ‘smart watch’ I think he said, you can contact me and your family and friends on it, take photos, play games and stuff, and I know this sounds too overprotective, but...” Leo paused and sighed, which made you worry a little.
“Leo you can tell me” you said sweetly while grabbing his arm lightly and resting your head on it.
“It has a location tracker on it and a heartbeat reader, so I’ll always know where you are, and if you’re in trouble or scared, you know, with the heartbeat thing, It sends my phone a signal that your heartbeat is abnormally high, I would know where you are so I could come save you, I know it’s a little too mu...” you stopped Leo by giving him a huge kiss on the lips, you knew how much he cared about you and your safety, especially since he has almost lost you to Shredder and his clan before.
“It’s an awesome idea, I love it” you said while blushing and stroking the side of Leo’s face. You put on the watch, it looked amazing on you. After that, you and Leo sat and watched movies together and ate popcorn for a few hours. Throughout one of the movies, he started to squeeze your thigh, which made you a little hot and heavy, so you bit your lip and shifted your hand across his chest and down his abs very slowly making your way down his crotch area, and then stopped and moved your hand away to tease him a little, he looked at you with a cocky smile and grabbed your hips and straddled you on his lap, you both started to get deep into a kiss before he got a call from his brothers that something came up with Shredder and his clan. Leo was apologetic,
“I’m so sorry princess, I’ll be back I promise”, he kissed you and stroked your cheek. Before rushing out of the window, he turned around to look at you “oh, and we’ll finish what we started later too kitten” he whispered in a low tone while winking. You watched him jump away on the buildings and giggled a little in excitement. Little did you know he’d be gone a while.
You still felt turned on, you didn’t know when he’d be back, and it was killing you, it’s been hours now. You decided you’d have to try undo yourself a little, so you rested back, and started to touch yourself. You thought ‘don’t finish incase he comes back’, so every time you’d almost reach your finish, you’d stop for a few seconds. Arching you’re back while playing with your sensitive spot between your legs with one hand and squeezing one of your breasts in another, thinking of Leo. This was making your heartbeat increase faster, and faster, and faster, and faster, until Leo gets a notification on his phone saying your heartrate was abnormally high. He’s currently just finished fighting off Shredders Clan and starts to panic, thinking maybe some of them targeted you again at your apartment.
“Hey guys, I need to go I think (y/n) is in danger” Leo shouts to his brothers, the three nod while trying to see if any of Shredders Clan was still around the dock area, offering to help Leo but he refused them since if ANYONE tries to hurt you, it’s personal. Leo jumps though the city hoping and praying you’re okay. Stating at the numbers on his screen stating that your heart rate is still high. He gets to your apartment window, pulls out his weapons ready to jump through and kick the ass of anyone who was trying to harm you, but all he can hear is moaning, he’s confused, a little concerned even, he pulls back the curtains a little, and to his amazement, there’s you, on your bed, messy hair, half naked, touching yourself. He lets out a huge sigh of relief, that you’re okay. He could feel himself getting hard as a rock, you noticed he was there and you turn to look at him while still playing with yourself, and he slowly approaches you, putting his weapons back.
He walks up to you and climbs on top of you, you stare at him and bite your lip with one of your hands between your legs. He grabs the hand from between your legs and puts it over your head, “do you know how much you’ve just scared me, princess”, he whispers as he starts massaging the bundle of nerves with his own finger between your legs. You arch your back in pleasure, this is what you’ve been waiting for. You don’t say anything, you just wrap your arms around his neck and passionately kiss him. Leo starts to kiss down your body until he gets to your thighs.
“I’m sorry I kept you waiting so long princess” he says in a low whisper before he starts to slowly lick at your slit, “oh, and make sure you take this off next time” he says while winking and sliding the watch off your wrist.

You’re both comfortable, until Leo breaks it, “sorry kitten, I have to go to the bathroom” he whispers, receiving a whine from you as he got up and your now warm comfortable position was gone.
You feel your back itch, knowing it was your wings, you quickly adjust them from inside your oversized hoodie you always wore to cover them up with. You hadn’t told Leo about them yet, not because you didn’t want too, but because you thought it might put him off, or maybe he found them annoying, your mind would rush full of reasons due to your overthinking, and thought it was better to keep them out of the way.
“I’m back sweetheart” Leo returns just as you had finished moving and wriggling around to re position your wings.
“I bought you something to drink”, you nod at Leo and thank him as he places your cup of (your favourite drink) on the table at the side of the sofa, and he notices that you keep bending your back slightly and reaching for it.
“(Y/N), are you okay?” Leo asks with a concerned look on his face.
“Y..yea, yes, yes, I’m good I just have an itch on my back” you stutter, trying not to look him in the eyes and keep them locked onto the television.
Leo just shrugs and smiles and sits back beside you, and goes to put his hand on your back and rubs slightly, when he does this, you shoot up at the feeling.
“WHOA”, you scream, which makes Leo jump and his once relaxed face turns into a concerned one as he quickly shoots up with you.
You try to reach for your back knowing Leo placed his arm on top of your wing in a weird place by accident which caused a little pain, he keeps pestering you asking if your okay.
He places a hand on your back to support you, and feels something.
“Uuh Kitten, excuse me for asking but, have you got something stuffed in the back of your hoodie?”
You quickly go red faced, “uhmmm, I…” you sigh and realise it’s probably time to show Leo. You face the ground for a second, taking in the atmosphere, before slowly peeling the oversized hoodie from your body, revealing your huge, yet beautiful white angel wings. Leo stands there with his mouth open in an ‘O’ shape, taking in the beauty of what he sees before him.
“I… I’m really sorry I didn’t tell you sooner, I just didn’t want you to, I don’t know, freak out and maybe not like me” you whisper while rubbing your arms. Leo walks over to you and lifts your chin up and places a kiss on your forehead.
“(Y/N), they’re beautiful, I love you regardless, I mean, you love me and look at me…” he whispers back and you just “tut” at his comment about himself and smile, he stretches his arm out and feels the edges of the wings, still in complete amazement which leaves you to giggle slightly. Leo notices and pulls a smug face and does it again and you flinch your wings away, “Leo.. s..stop it” you say In between laughs, “So you’re ticklish too huh” Leo says with the same smug look on his face as he tickles your wings more. You burst out in laughter and flap your wings in an attempt to stop him, which makes you lift off the ground and you fly to reach the same hight as him, and kiss him softly. “I love you Leo, thank you for letting me, you know… be me”,
“I love you too (y/n), and back at you” Leo replies with a soft smile, and you both stare into each other’s eyes while you float there, you were just about to tell the story of how you got your wings, until Leo grabs your waist and tickles you some more. “OMG LEO… PLEASE.. I CANT” you scream in laughter as Leo continues to tickle the life out of you.
“So it’s not just the wings that are ticklish huh” he laughs as he picks you up and places you back on the sofa to cuddle some more.

If Leo ever woke up and saw you wasn’t there, or snook into your apartment/ home to visit and saw you were missing, he’d go into PANIC MODE!
Leo knew there was always a risk of you being taken or hurt if you dated, but he loves you and you love him, you both took that risk. Leo loves you wat too much to ever leave you, and swore to protect you, and felt he let you down.
He catches his cool very quickly, although this doesn’t last long, and tries to rush back to the lair to tell the bros that they need to help him find you.
Although Leo may seem strong and made of stone, he isn’t always, this got him, he was supposed to be looking out for you at all times, how could he let you slip, he bursts into tears infront of his bros when he arrives trying to explain you’re gone, scared to death about where you are or what’s happening to you.
He tries to stop hyperventilating as he rushes to check his room and your apartment one last time with his bros before rushing to find you.
You were taken by the foot clan, you was sleeping in your apartment bed with Leo after a movie night, and you decided to ask Leo to stay, and when Leo’s with you he’s in his comfort zone, he was out like a light while rapping his arms around you, but just as you walk out of the bedroom into the kitchen for some water, BANG, you were punched and that’s all you could remember, waking up tied up near a docking area on a chair, mouth taped shut and foot clan members patrolling the area.
As soon as the bros found you, Leo didn’t hesitate, he didn’t creep around, or be silent like a ninja, he pounced on their asses, you better believe Leo kicked their ass so hard that they would’ve been able to shit out of their mouths if they so much as even coughed.
Leo grabs you, lifting the whole chair with you in it trying to get you to safety, the bros follow, gobsmacked at the fact they didn’t even have to move a muscle while Leo beat the foot clans asses,
He gets you somewhere safe and unties you, and just sobs uncontrollably, grabbing your hands and kissing them, checking for any marks or injuries, begging for forgiveness for not ‘looking out for you properly’.
“Leo I’m okay seriously, everything is okay, it’s just a little bruise, you’re here now”. You try to calm him down.
“I..I didn’t mean for this to happen I’m a failure y/n I’m so sorry I, I can’t...” he stutters trying to get his words out while caressing the bruise on your temple, but you place a finger in his lips and reassure him that it’s fine, you’re fine, and he saved you, you know that no matter what happens, Leo would always be at your aid, and it’s definitely not his fault. Although it would take Leo a while to get over this as he thinks he’s failed to protect you. He sits with you a while on a roof top after his bros leave, allowing you to lean into his chest while he rubs circles on your back and arm, kissing your forehead watching New York night life go by, still constantly apologising.
Leo takes you to the lair where he gets you into a warm shower and then into bed with you straight away, whispering sweet nothings into your ear, making promises to never let you leave his side again, and although Leo’s normally this strong, head up, and brave turtle, tonight he broke down at the sight and fear of you being taken, he just holds you, and doesn’t stop cuddling you for a second, scared to let you out of his sight, but you reassure him over and over again that you are okay and no matter what you’ll always be with him, and that you know he’d never let anything happen to you.
You’d never be kidnapped again, and Leo makes sure of this, master splinter even told Leo he was proud of him, he’d never seen this side of Leo, and even if you did ever get kidnapped again, or hurt, or taken, by anyone or anything, Leo would always, ALWAYS be there to save you, but of corse, he’d no longer allow this to happen.
You stay at the lair most night now, Leo is more relaxed about the situation, although always on alert, Leo was a big overprotective teddy bear, and you loved it.
Imagine being alone on an island and this handsome fella just came out of the water to be with you forever more 💙

LEO HEADCANONS (18+)

Sorry it’s been a while but I’m finally back :), also sorry if I’ve made any mistakes or the whole thing is just bad in general, trying to get back into writing imagines. Enjoy :).
Looking deep into your eyes while you talk about the things you enjoy and love, just falling into a trance listening to your voice, seeing your face light up, and realising just how lucky he is, he rubs your hands and fingers to relax you while loosing himself in your eyes, while you’d be passively chatting away about your favourite movie or book.
Him always missing you when you leave the sewer and he follows you home making sure nothing happens to you, missing you as soon as you disappear into your home, and while he’s on patrol, while you’re doing your day to day things like school, college or work or just generally at home. Always checking his phone to see weather you text, and getting slightly worried if you don’t for a while, would always rush to your house/ apartment as his paranoia gets to him, as you both understand that being in a relationship with him could get you hurt, although he’d never let that happen.
Always visiting your window at night, so he can come in and watch movies with you and cuddle, he’s play with your hair, and maybe even constantly ask questions about the movie but you don’t mind. He’d randomly pop in some night because he misses you, and you’d sometimes be asleep, he’d just smile and leave so he wouldn’t disturb you, unless you tell him he can come in while you’re asleep, (as quietly as possible trying not to wake you) :).
Him making love to you, always trying not to be too rough because he doesn’t want to hurt due to his size, and he’d try not to crush you while he’s on top, if you was comfortable with him being rough, he would, but he would never want to hurt you. He would always tend to your needs in bed, making sure to love and caress every part of your body, kissing you in your most intimate ares, making sure you’re just as satisfied as him, and would never push you to do things you didn’t want to do, he loves your body no matter what and would always make sure you know that, and if you ever feel insecure he’d always make sure you know how beautiful you are and that he loves your body and everything that comes with it, no matter the size, mark or scar, he loves it and he loves you.
Cuddling in bed naked, him caressing your back softly, whispering sweet nothings in your ear, your head just under his chin, and his chin leaning on your head. Him occasionally kissing your forehead, and both drifting off with the warmth of each other.
He’d always read you books, and would ask you to meditate with him, and you always enjoyed it, as seeing him happy was great and would put a smile on your face.
He never used to be ‘cuddly’ around his brothers due to their teasing, but now he doesn’t care, he would show you love anytime you wanted or needed it.
You’d always ask him if you can come to patrol but he would always say no, he has no idea what he would do if something was to happen to you. He cares about you a lot and worries you’d get hurt or taken.
He’d always comfort you if you ever had a bad day, or was ever in a bad mood, and would make sure you felt loved and appreciated. He’d always listen to your problems and help any way he ever could. He hates seeing you unhappy, and will cuddle you and wipe your tears away, cupping your face and planting sweet kisses onto your nose, telling you he’d always be here for you.
