The main point of this article is talking about the first female who plays football. The main point was illustrated in an example "Thirteen year old Karlie Herman becomes the first girl to win player of the year in Washington, DC, area youth football league ". The idea develops as in goes through the article . The article first gave us background information about Karlie that she played football before and that she won prizes. It also talks about the coach of the team Bob Thomas that really helped her and believed in her. After that the article told us about Karlie  difficulties that faced her because she was the only girl in her team , then the told us about her future plan and career.

2-Organization

The organization of this article is clear and easy to read and understand because it was split into small paragraphs and this helped me a lot because all the ideas were given in a simple way For example, at the beginning the author gave us a good introduction by including some background information about Karlie which are her achievements, then in the middle of the text she talked about the difficulties that faced her and at the end the article talked about he future plan and career. One of the strengths of this article is that they gave us background information which helped us know more about Karlie and her achievements. I think the only weakness in this article is that they didn't give us more information in the middle of the text.

-Purpose

The purpose of this article is to inform us about the first female achievements in American football, and it did , because it talked about her achievements and prizes that she won, it also talked about the difficulties that she overcome , and it talked about her future plans and career and that she will open a company, but the article gave us these information without giving specific details.

3-Who is the author of the article? I would ask this question because knowing who the author is would help me determine if the article is reliable or not. A second question I would ask is Where was this article posted ? asking this question would also tell me if the article is reliable or not because if for example it was posted on a cooking website then it wont be reliable because it doesn't have to do anything with cooking.

4-This article is reliable, first because the author gives us detailed and specific information, for example se talks about the years that Karlie did her achievements. A second reason that makes it reliable is that the article mentions quotes from people who know Karlie like her mother and her coach. Another important reason that shows that the article is reliable is that the author gives specific details that shows her knowledge. I think that these sources are the most important to let us know if the article is reliable or not.

Portraying people with disabilities in entertainment media is unfair

This is 100 percent true. Making fun of people’s disability shouldn’t be considered as an “entertainment,” that’s one. Two, people with those disabilities are already insecure about what they have to go through, and people are adding humiliation. This is just making them feel worst. In any sort of entertainment, if it will hurt the person’s feelings in the end, then this is where the unfairness comes. Those people never chose to be like this, It is how they were born. Doing such thing like using people with disabilities as a side of entertainment is called being lifeless, and childish. A child will even understand better. Doing that, is also meaning you being rude to that person. 

Though, portraying people as in inspiring others, and showing them that its okay to be disabled, then you are being useful and spreading positivity. Instead of just wasting time by being rude, you can show people that being disabled dosent mean anything. You can always achieve your goals, dosent matter in which situation you stand.

I agree because hurting people is going to affect them for most of their lives, and we are meant to be there for them, stand by them and help them, instead of putting them down and hurting them. Whereas where you said that then can be used as an example for inspiration and motivation is a more excellent example because this is basically what our job is towards ill people.

A major theme in the book is Isolation. Provide three examples of this throughout the book and also respond to the following: Christopher prefers to be alone, but knows he’s unable take care of himself on his own. Is there a contradiction here? AND why is Christopher okay touching animals, but not humans?

Christopher likes being alone because this means him being away from people, and this is exactly what he likes. He likes being alone because he can communicate with himself, and the only person he can understand in this world is himself.

For example, in the very beginning of the book, Christopher mentioned the fact that he was enjoying the jail cell because it was a perfect size for him, but most importantly, he’s alone.

Another example is when he said:

“I decided to leave home alone, because when I’m sad I’d like to be left alone.” This kind of shows us that no matter what mood he is in, he likes to be alone, especially when he is said though, he prefers to be alone. 

Another example is when Christopher mentioned that he wanted to be an astronaut. I think that what I concluded was that he wanted to be an astronaut because this means him being away from everybody else, because no one lives in space, making him alone with nobody but himself. 

Christopher is okay with touching animals because he kind of finds it easier to interact with them, more easier than he does with humans. For example, he can tell by the sound the animal makes that whether he is hurt, hungry or happy.

“Violence can be a reasonable response to an unreasonable situation.”

I have two opinions for this quote. Firstly, I disagree because as so many people have said, violence is never the answer. Using violence will only make the problem and situation worst than it already is. Understanding people and knowing their reasons behind certain things will fix everything. Basically communication is kind of a response to everything. Though, Christopher can’t be blamed for the things he has done because of him having Asperger Syndrome, he is acting this way, and using violence in some of the times, like when he hit the police officer in the beginning of the book. 

My second opinion is that I slightly agree with this quote only when it comes to self defense. If you were getting attacked by someone, then the only way to escape from this situation is to use violence. So I guess what I’m trying to say, is that violence ca only be used if it means your safety, because that’s what matters the most.

Christopher,Father,Mother

Christopher:I like Christopher and i really don't think that he should be blamed for anything,i mean that he never harmed anyone and even if he did it wont be because he wanted to but because he has Asperger Syndrome he always says the truth even if the truth hurts.

Father:I like Christopher's father because he took care of Christopher and he protected his son and he was always  beside his son when he needed it i don't think he is a bad father even if he didn't tell Christopher the truth about his mother but this is because he cares.

Mother:i think that Christopher's mother is really cruel and careless how did her heart allow her to leave her son that has Asperger Syndrome alone with his father only because she wanted to live her life i think this is really unfair at lest she would've took him with her.

Social media

At the beginning of this project i thought that it will be very boring and hard but i really liked it and it was really fun.I learned many new things i learned that people can have different point of views but the thing is how to you argue with a different point of view that you should be respectful and deliver your message in a nice and clear way. For the people who say that social media is not useful i respect your point o view but social media is a great way for learning for example this project we learned a lot of new things and shared ideas with other people, but learning from social media depends on the person using it and he decides if social media is a good thing or not depending on the way he uses it

“Portraying people with disabilities in entertainment media is unfair.” I think I am against that. Yes some entertainment media does represent people with disabilities in a very “disrespectful” way, but that is not part of my argument. I actually think it’s fair to portrait people with disabilities in entertainment (only if it’s in a respectful way) since many people have to learn more about these people and therir disabilities. If you represent someone’s disability in an “entertaining” way then people would love to learn more about the disabilities and this will help add some more knowledge to them. And so if they ever come across people with the same disability they saw in an “entertaining” way then they will be already familiar with maybe the symptoms or how to treat them. It will also represent to us how brave people could be and it would allow others to be thankful for what they have. It would also teach people who may have the same disability more things to help them in love. I mean face it who doesn’t love entertainment? But imagine entertainment with knowledge then your time is never wasted! That’s amazing!

In the story “The Curious Incident of The Dog in The Nighttime” the author is portraying Cristopher in an entertaining way with his disability (Asperger’s Syndrome). It allows us to understand more about his syndrome and to understand the way he lives, thinks, or does in an entertaining way in which we don’t feel like were only gaining information and so we want to stop reading since it’s too boring, but instead we are receiving some fun and laughter while reading that we love to learn new things and we don’t get bored.  And we would understand how to treat someone with Asperger’s Syndrome (if we ever came across someone ) respectively and fairly.

I am sorry but i totally disagree with your point of view Portraying people with disabilities in entertainment media is unfair because people that have disabilities like Asperger Syndrome lets say wont like it if they were the attention of people and they wont like it if they are the reason for people to laugh or have fun they have a serious struggle in their life and they need help posting pictures of their cases and making people laugh wont help it will make their case worst.

Christopher decision

Christopher decided that he couldn't live with his father anymore and that was because of two reasons the first reason was that his father lied to him that his mother was dead and she was alive and the second reason was because he was the one who killed wellington. Christopher had many plans in his head for the place he was going to live the first thing he thought of was living with Mrs. shears but he crossed this idea out an then the other idea was that he goes home but he also crossed it out, then he thought of staying in the garden but he also crossed it out, then he also thought of living with his uncle Terry he also crossed it out. The last plan was that he will go and live with his mother in London and this was his final decision.

Lying is always wrong

Telling lies do not help one in every situation and definitely a lie would be caught at some point of time. while telling a lie, you might get escaped for the time being, but would definitely be caught. Telling the truth at times does require great courage, but a person who speaks the truth is always respected and loved by others.

I think this song describes overcoming adversity because the singer had a dream, she believed that god gave her a beautiful voice and she believed that she will be famous and people will like her voice but she faced a lot of problems to make her dream come true one of the struggles she faced was that her parents refused to let her sing but she didn't stop and she kept on running after her dream after she was 18 years old she traveled and she went to some place for auditioning and the accepted her and she made her dream come true.
