After over two months, I still can't believe this happened. For those of you that don't know, on April 2, my family surprised me and took me to see the touring cast of The Phantom of the Opera. The show was absolutely PHENOMENAL, but my favorite occurrence happened afterwards. The cast announced that at the end of the night, donations were accepted for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. Each donation came with a gift, $10 for a tote bag, and so on. For a quite generous donation, you could get a tour with the leading lady, Katie Travis. We exited the theatre with the donation which got me a signed poster in mind, but ended up giving all of the money I brought for the entire weekend to get the tour. I regret NOTHING. Katie was the sweetest, most caring, and most down to earth person. The tour was amazing (I got to go on stage with the set: AMAZING.) The wonderful night eventually came to a close with the best selfie I've ever taken, as you can see. In conclusion, I have a huge wave of nostalgia mixed with a late night. HOWEVER, KATIE TRAVIS IS AMAZING AND SO IS PHANTOM SO IF YOU GET A CHANCE TO GO SEE THE SHOW/KATIE, DO NOT PASS IT UP.

You are my absolute best friend and I would give up the chance to do anything even remotely related to Phantom or Broadway in general to have you in my life (wow, you're important to me.)
