Here I am performing a little #microgig at the St Botolph’s Waiting Room. You can't see but eight Colchester souls popped along and braved the cold to hear me play. Big thanks to James Sarek for inviting me and hosting an interesting month of events.

Thanks to all the lovely ladies & gents that came along to listen to me perform at the first Christmas Art & Craft Fair at the Hazel Gallery based at the St Botolph's Waiting Room. It's a wonderful day full of fantastic local works to snap up. Fantastic food, music and retro threads. Get down there while you can. And say hello to the Minories too! It’s the first Hazel Gallery Art Fair tomorrow, kicking off with a special Christmas version!

Artists and makers will be displaying and selling their works in the St Botolph’s Waiting Room . Plus ’Easy Tiger‘ vintage clothing  and live acoustic music including Ukelady and The Medlars

Chef Charlie Stocker will be creating some delicious foods including Smoked Mushroom or Apple and Celeriac Soup with Homemade Bread Roll for £3.50, plus Mini Sliders,  Brownies, Orange Mocha Macarons and Shortbread

Incidentally, it is also Small Business Saturday, so you also get a warm glow from supporting small and local businesses! Hazel Gallery open as usual with a range of contemporary and original art and craft

10am-6pm FREE ENTRY!

Our friends over at The Minories also have their Christmas Art and Design Fair on too, so they’ll be lots of great art and craft to see and an opportunity to get some very individual and beautiful Christmas presents!

I went to the Ukuele Coffee Union at the Minories today and sung this song. It's a cover of the Klaxons, Golden Skans. I was so inspired by performing I thought I'd record it and whack it up on youtubes. Klaxons are actually one of my favourite bands. It translates so well to uke. I love it! I'm going to be strumming on mah ukulele at the Junk Jamboree this Saturday from 2pm. It's a wonderful vintage and handmade market housed in a lovely old church hall. Bringing together the best in local traders selling vintage clothing and accessories for men and women, homewares, prints, jewellery, cushions, kitchenalia, stationery, cool crochet and a whole lot more!

Come down and say hi. I'll also be manning the door from 3 - 4pm.
