This happened to my little brother in Kindergarten..

A few weeks ago I was painting my nails when my little brother went up to me and said “I want my nails black and red too” so obviously who was I to be all like “Fuck no” so I painted them and told him they looked pretty and he was super happy about it. So after that we go and watch tv and keep in mind he was 6 at the time, and at his old school (a private church thing) painting your nails was no biggie for anyone. He goes to school the next morning (public elementary kindergarten to 5th) and my mom and grandma get a phone call from the school saying he got picked on from other kids (5th graders 10 to 12 years old) saying shit like he was a F*ggot and that nail polish was for girls and was he a girl and just all together being cunts to him. So the school in their eyes was forced to take the nail polish off him. When he comes home he was upset and was in tears, saying that nail polish was for girls and why did I let him have it and shit like that.

So there I am trying to convince it’s for anyone who wants to wear it when i get reminded “oh i got pictures of some specific boys he loves wearing polish”

See here my favourite band wears nail polish too and my little brother LOVES them-almost as much as I do-so I pulled up a picture of the drummer Ashton(aka the drummer of 5SOS so yea im trash) and his nails were painted like a silver and I started to tell him its okay and then I showed him one of Calum (the bassist) with black nails and he’s flipping his shit all like “That was the same colour as mine!” and then I show him one of the lead Guitarist (Michael who happens to share the same first name as my little brother) and its like he was given a fuckin xbox or some shit he just goes “Oh my gosh Mi’kal wore black too and he’s a boy!”

TL;DR He went to school wearing nail polish again and told his teachers he wanted it bc ‘5sos can wear it i can too”

So yeah thanks to them my little brother isn’t as afraid to express himself (he even wears pink until his dad starts yelling at him when he goes to his dads)
