omegaverse rly is the worst trope/kink bc it's really just every single -ism and -phobic you can think of. transphobic against trans men and trans women at the same time in different but equally severe ways. bioessentialist. misogynistic in every direction. intersexist. homophobic in a way that makes uke/seme look progressive. usually racist in the way non-white characters are treated within it. the common abbreviation for it is quite literally a slur against Aboriginal Australians and people have been saying that for YEARS and it still gets called that. and to top it all off, the people who are most into omegaverse are also The Most Annoying People In Any And All Fandoms by a country fucking mile. just dogshit all around.

my overall opinion of the whole "i became a white nationalist because people called me racist for no reason" talking point is that while I do think spurious accusations of bigotry are a problem, if your immediate reaction to being called racist is to become an actual white nationalist then it sounds like they were right about you being racist. like I don't think that accusation was spurious.
