I honestly have no words for people with this outlook. Middle aged men who attack Greta for the way she looks and for being young?? Clearly they have no substance to go on. They know she's right and they're SCARED of her, so they do what they do best with their hollow heads: attack her appearance! She is doing this because NO ADULTS care enough to speak up. I stand with her and I think she's incredible.

I still remember the day my parents told me Steve Irwin had passed away.

I know some biologists and conservationists have criticisms about his showy methods, but you really can’t ignore how much this man did for conservation in terms of education and fundraising. He really did believe that he was put on this earth to save animals and teach other people to love them the way he did.

I also really respect that he didn’t usually downplay the danger of what he was doing. He was very clear that he was willingly risking his life to show these animals to people. His message was that these animals were dangerous, but that they were still amazing and deserving of love and preservation.

So many people I know initially got involved in conservation because they loved the Crocodile Hunter as kids. He wasn’t perfect, but his blazing passion for wildlife and conservation is something we should all aspire to.
