Two excerpts from my last glass exhibit. The first, a flowing water painting turned stained glass withe the help of a ring saw and countless nights. The second, a pair of free formed vessels.

There’s my past molten glass studio, ain’t she a beauty! Just a few examples of utilizing cane and frit in a molten studio. I created the imagery on the middle piece by picking up multiple layers of opaque and translucent color while blowing the vessel, then masking off the negative imagery and sandblasting the layers off glass away to reveal the imagery.
My stained glass obsession began by working on some small window panels in the hopes of simply adding some more color to my drab kitchen. Stepping out of my color boundaries, I started using pressed leaves and other similar objects to grab natural hues of light. The process has evolved from simple candle holders, to wall fixtures and hanging globe lights.

Planting up a few Tampa Storefronts
Have a wide array of containers to kick out today at Bloom; from cachepots to mirrored glass to composite bowls. Orchids, Succulents and Calathea galore!
Today = Succulent gardens! Both containers created by yours truly
Finished round of Hypertufa pots from this week, my personal favorite being the set of low stacking bowls. For easy maintenance, I am planting them up with combinations of elegant succulents, beautiful haworthias, vibrant grafted cactus and flowing sedum. Had to create a prototype as well for a water-side dinner party function that incorporated orchids and succulents to create a tropical feel.
Having fun with Airplants and sea urchins!
More and more succulent gardens! Searching for interesting contains this weekend, came across some great finds.... from Galvanized bowls, old paint cans, business card holders, a ceramic kitchen hen, and several pots by yours truly, everything vessel is fair game for succulents!
From in house to offsite, more vibrant summer color! Flowers of the week = Yellow Gaillardia and Purple Foxglove, perfect sun loving focal points for your container gardens and landscaping. The colors and textures that herbs add to a springtime arrangement are unmatched, especially for the culinary enthusiasts out there,

A few hidden treasures from around the garden
Sometimes its fun to create an arrangement that's not for sale just so you can watch it age and grow
