A Little Bit Longer

I haven’t written is years, so here’s a quick little post season 3 Jancy drabble to break the ice. Rated M. 

Under the covers of an unfamiliar bed in an unfamiliar town, they were quiet. Their moans were stifled to hushed exhales; movements slowed to cautious advances to keep the old metal bed frame from protesting too rhythmically.

Despite there being no one that might hear them, they’d grown familiar with having each other quietly. Indulging in every last thrust and every whimper that turned into harsh puffs of breath against sweaty necks.

A note to fans of ST

Please take our losses respectfully and with dignity. It certainly isn’t helping when you whinge and bitch on Instagram to award shows meaninglessly, as it only reflects badly on us. All the shows nominated for awards are incredibly deserving, and we have to respect that.

While S2 of Stranger Things may have been the best show to you, critically, it wasn’t sadly. Unfortunately I can’t root for Stranger Things this year either because I enjoyed the first season better, and believe there were other shows that were better written, and therefore may have had all around better performances. While Stranger Things certainly had amazing performances, some actors and actresses weren’t able to be stretched to their full potential, due to some sloppiness in the show, which unfortunately resulted in our loss. (I think you know which characters I’m referring to - fix it Duffer’s) Additionally while you may believe S2 was better, and all the performances were strong, other shows may have been stronger to the majority of critics and fellow actors.

In conclusion, we have one a fair few awards, and we should be happy with them. Let’s hope S3 is the best yet writing and plot wise, so the actors, actresses, directors, and writers can receive the recognition they deserve. I have great expectations and hopes for next season, and I hope you guys do too. I apologise if this is offensive to you, and if you respectfully disagree. Feel free to reblog with your personal thoughts and respectful replies.

Just do one thing for me please - don’t make a fool out of yourselves and the show. It reflects badly upon yourself and the fanbase. Just don’t.

With the lag in jancy fics recently, figured it was time for one of these! So from Feb 7th thru Feb 14th will be Jancy Fic Week!

Each day will have a different theme! The fics can be short or chapters long! As long as it’s about Jancy then anything goes!

Feb 7th: Anything Goes: write what you want!

Feb 8th: Cliche Romance Trope: coffee shop AU? stuck in an elevator? neighbor who needs to borrow some sugar? what classic trope do you want to put Jancy in?

Feb 9th: Comedy: Jonathan and Nancy just have this magical comedic timing, don’t they?

Feb 10th: Smut: make it as explicit as you want! or as tame.

Feb 11th: AU Day: ever wanted to insert Jonathan and Nancy in modern times, wild west, regency, Star Trek? here’s your chance!

Feb 12th: Canon Compliant:  if the Duffers read it, they could include it in S3.

Feb 13th: Sickeningly Sweet: got a fic idea where they’re so sweet you need to see a dentist after?!

Feb 14th: Valentines Day: whether it be anti or pro, Jancy and a heart shaped box of chocolates is where it’s at.
