Not to be too pretentious, but as a creative person, the thought of having AI make "art" or "write" for me feels like the equivalent of letting someone else enjoy going outside for me or tasting food for me or listening to music for me which all sounds incredibly depressing and terrible. That post that's like what am I gonna let the AI fuck my wife for me too was so right for that tbh.

The wife and I are watching through past years of Eurovision and I gotta say nobody really uses fog machines to their full potential anymore.

I’m exhausted, Im sunburned (it was supposed to be rainy!!!), but I finally got a gold medal!!

I’ve got an archery tournament this weekend - the same one that was my first ever tournament last year. At that point I signed up despite never having shot outdoors. I wasn’t even sure I could shoot outdoor distances, but registration was cheap and I like supporting my local range. They put a few of us in a special “novice” division with shorter distances, and I still only scored 26/300 at 50yds on tournament day. 🤣 Still got a silver medal, though, since there were only two of us novice barebow shooters.

This year I’m experienced, prepared, and shooting with better equipment. There’s still only two people in my division (I’m an old lady now, so I’m in the “Senior Games”), so the worst I can do is still a silver, but my hope is to finally take gold. I’ve gotten silver at literally every tournament I’ve entered - indoor, outdoor, big, small, Renaissance faire, doesn’t matter - and it would be really cool to finally top a podium.
