Search and rescue mission....
I stumbled upon a website that allows you to blend any colors evenly no matter how opposite on the spectrum they are.
sharing the knowledge
very helpful art resource
WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE???
adding onto this - i also know of a website for calculating color averages which supports a variety of different color codes , weighted averages , and transparency
the whole website operates on a “you get a few free daily uses and have to pay for a subscription to use infinitely” , but the main functionality of this tool is entirely unaffected by it (it only applies to downloading / copying the resulting “average color” image charts , not the color averaging itself)

Essential Kirby Qualities
I recently found my “gold” hammer after misplacing it. It’s my favorite tool ever because it looks like a regular hammer trying to be fancy,
but then you twist both halves and unscrew it to find a flat-head screwdriver in the middle.
BUT, if you twist the very end and unscrew that
you find a phillips screwdriver.
BUT DON’T THINK THAT’S ALL THERE IS! THERE’S MORE!! unscrew the very end again to find a smaller flat-head screwdriver!
BUT THAT’S STILL NOT THE END!!
unscrew the end of this screwdriver to find a final, teeny tiny, flat-head screwdriver
look at how cute it is!
it’s like a matryoshka doll of tools.
I have one of these and I keep it in my IT toolkit because that teeny little screwdriver is the right side for laptop casings, but because it lives inside a large object it’s harder to misplace than a standard tiny screwdriver. Also because the look on a client’s face when you bring out a brass hammer to fix their laptop is absolutely wild.
Here, take this battle shrimp. One could say you've found your knight in brining armor🦐

BUDDY you're a BOY you're a BIG BIG BOY you're a BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG BOY you got mud on your face you BIG BIG BOY kicking your can all over the place singing WEE wee WEE wee WEE wee WEE wee
The most terrifying part of having memory issues is when you can feel something from 5 seconds ago be thrown out the window and there's an empty hole where it once was. You remember that you forgot something.
Turns out you can roll a 7 on a d6
but only once.
Some Yu-Gi-Oh! bullshit right there

history fucked me up
oxford was built and operational as a college before the rise of the mayans and cleopatra lived in a time nearer to pizza hut’s invention than to the pyramids being built
I need a noncomprehensive history book that covers Known World History in time periods, like “in this century, all this shit was happening concurrently” and not just all spread out so I have to piece it together like some unpaid uneducated scholar
You mean like this?
The Timetables of History by Bernard Grun
I grew up with this book, which is frickin’ enormous, and it was endlessly fascinating to young me to pour over the side by side comparison of events taking place concurrently under different headings and in different parts of the world.
Or if you want something you can put on your wall, there’s this:
World History Timeline
I had this book! My grandpa gave it to me and it was really freakin useful!!
I loved this book! Same for The Timetables of Science: A Chronology of the Most Important People and Events in the History of Science.
Same for The Timetables of Technology: A Chronology of the Most Important People and Events in the History of Technology. Great references!
okay but here’s an even cooler (free!) visualization that goes a step further and tracks ideas, devices, infrastructures, and systems of power
Calculating Empires: A Genealogy of Technology and Power Since 1500
✨️with a special focus on colonialism, militarization, automation, and enclosure✨️
You can spend hours upon hours exploring this
